I know a girl who's a big fan of all three, and she's going on nineteen now. It's a bit of a shame really, considering that every single one of her friends hates Twilight and the Disney Devils with a passion. Well, to be fair, he did say "few."

Annoying people can lead to a dislike of something. That's how it started for me. Then I realized that's not fair, so I read the plot summaries, and hated it still. Then the character descriptions. Made me feel like killing with fire. I realized that maybe good writing made up for it. My dad happened to find a copy of Breaking Dawn some girl was done with, and thought I might like it... he meant well, he didn't know what it was.

So, I read the first chapter, not for plot, not for characterization, but for writing style. And I still hated it.

Also, the Underworld trilogy is probably my favorite interpretation of vamps in terms of badassery.
