Between Wales, Scotland or France I think I'd go with Wales. I have lots of family there for a start.
The UK counts as one country, no?
...

Nope.

Try telling that to a Scotsman... or an Irishmen or an Englishman for that matter.

Being Norwegian, I could go to finland (tempting, I guess. Lotta lakes.), Russia (Too fucking cold, and I woke up to -25C this morning), or Sweden (basically Norway 15 years ahead in everything).
Söta Bror, here I come!

As an American, I don't value pinatas and cheap booze more than the ability to rule the country by owning the only gun. I'd try to set up in Ottawa, but end up going the wrong way on the only road and end up in Newfoundland. Upon successful takeover, I'd rally the walruses and take Alaska, completely crippling the country that screwed me over.

Well, being Canadian, I think Russia's pretty close, and honestly I think I'd be cool with living there... so long as someone could transplant some kind of knowledge of the Russian language into my brain.

Barring that, using the technicality from earlier to go to France.

living in Kansas, United states, its either Canada or Mexico.

What to do. Take the safetly of Canada, but go politically insane (and maybe physically/mentally insane because of going politically insane) or Mexico where I will still most likely go politically insane, but have a higher chance of getting shot by the cartels. I think I will go to Canada, and just try and find somewhere more conservative. Isnt there a territory that is like Texas, but alittle more left leaning? If so, I know where I am going.

That would be Alberta... our Texas. They vote conservative, they have a ton of oil, they wear freaking cowboy hats... yeah it IS weird.

Of course there's more hockey than football... but there is still football.

Of course I am curious what about our politics YOU think is so insane. I mean there's lots to choose from, just wondering what you'd picked up on down south.
Well, we vote conservative by Canadian standards. And actually I voted for the NDP.

And I wear a Fedora, thank you very much, that's completely different from a cowbay hat! Jeez!

2.belgium: funny accent, weird beer, nice food, comics -> meh
3.italy: stale beer, awful bread, but pizza, lasagne, bruschetti, wine and beaches, cities look like slums ->nah

I live in Germany and I'd move to Britain if I could. But it's oversea and stuff so I choose Austria. It has some great cities, they speak almost my language, they have AWESOME cake and their beer is alright. Their politics are a bit f***ed up and the police force in Vienna is a little racist I think but hey... CAKE AND BEER!

I'm Australian, so I have the options of either, Papua New Guinea, East Timor, Indonesia or New Zealand. Sheep ahoy then!

Dudes, your forgot one country in your list, which is Switzerland

Which, incidentally, is my country....now we have a fair amount of countries to pick from

France: Better for me as we share a language, but i hate the politics and general attitude over there. Still, have some friends who live there

Germany: I forgot almost all my german, but I love the country. Biggest problem would be game censorship though...and having to buy everything in import

Italy: Nice country, but too much of a barrier language, also too hot.

Austria: Hey why not, although again, barrier country and I know next to nothing about that country.

Liechtenstein: Austria x 10.

If I could bend the rules, I'd go maybe belgium...or if i could REAAALLY chose...Uk. I love the Uk. I wanna hug it and put a bowtie around it's neck and call it scruffy.

Well I'm from Northern Ireland, that leaves me with the Republic, England, Scotland and Wales...

Hmmm, It would come down to Scotland or Wales, with England in third and the Republic last.

Canada. Like everyone else, I am not exactly eager to spend the rest of my life in Mexico.

Germany is wonderful. We have the best beer except Poland and Czech Republic, we have awesome food, great music festivals, we had Beethoven, Goethe and Schiller, great cars, one of the best football teams ever (I will not call it soccer, cause it's football and american football is not football it's basically rugby with a misshaped ball) aaaaand we don't have death penalty.

And I think that's the reason I'd choose Austria. Cause it's almost like Germany but without game censorship and you can buy all the German stuff there too. And the Vienna State Opera House is one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture ever made.

Switzerland is cool too, very peaceful, nice landscapes, awesome chocolate and way nicer people than in Vienna for example. Still I'd choose Austria... Salzburg I think.

EDIT: Fine, let's keep this interesting for the rest of you fellow Americans. WHERE in Canada would you move?
[sub]Jesus, so much for my brilliant thread topics.[/sub]
How specific do you want? I've got a lot of friends in Ontario, but narrowing it down to a single city might be a problem.

Well I live in the UK but I'm from Poland...So I'll roll with Poland.

That means I'd like to move to Germany. Just because a lot of my family lives there and it's a pretty chill place.
