*ducks to avoid incoming slap*afaceforradio said:3. People who feel sorry for themselves and don't man up about things they can do NOTHING about.
Ah no see, my point is totally valid and I stand by it 100% - I have Cancer, which my body won't fight on its own, I can't choose to not have it and I can't do anything about the treatment I'm having or the effects it has on me. So I can either sulk and whine and feel sorry for myself or I can just get on with my life and accept that it has to be done and try to enjoy life.Oh That Dude said:*ducks to avoid incoming slap*afaceforradio said:3. Seriously though, that's a pretty harsh reason to slap someone. I mean, if there's something you can do about it and you're still being mopey, then I can understand your point. But if there's nothing you can do about whatever is upsetting you, it's kinda understandable. I can't do anything about illnesses in my family, it's still pretty difficult to just "man up" (God I hate that phrase) and get over it. I can't change the fact that I'm naturally pretty useless socially, it's not easy to just "get over".

He got it wrong then, cos it's £40 a year, where'd he get £30 a month? He needs a slap for being WRONG. Hehe.Jamiemitsu said:Yeah, there the wost.Jasonater said:People who steal my oxygen.

Seriously, though, I know a guy in my art class who deserves a daily slap for being such a major 360 fanboy/ ps3 hater. This might not be so bad if he had some genuinely well thought out opinions, but he NEVER does. Oh, those insightful conversations... Him: PSN sucks, live's way better. Me: Whats the difference? You have to pay for live, don't you? Him: Oh, its only £30 a month. Thats not much. Me: It all adds up, though. Him: Shut up, your such a ps3 fanboi, lololololol, fail.
And so on. He's a real life troll.
Ah, sorry to hear that. I guess that would kinda change ones outlook. I so admire your courage in being strong enough to keep trying to enjoy life, but one thing: Does it annoy that some aren't able, or feel unable, to take that route enough to slap them? A friend of mine put it well: Humans are vessels, of many different sizes and shapes. We can all hold different amounts. Some people can tolerate extremely difficult circumstances, some cannot get through things that seem minor in comparison.afaceforradio said:Ah no see, my point is totally valid and I stand by it 100% - I have Cancer, which my body won't fight on its own, I can't choose to not have it and I can't do anything about the treatment I'm having or the effects it has on me.
