Antichrist Superstar. Am I a big manson fan? No, but that album.... Not a single bad song on it and the concept is amazing. I've lost countless hours trying to figure it out. I love That album not because the songs are good, but the story it tells is so... Close to my nihilstic worldview. And would I create a book, game etc I would allways thank Marilyn Manson for creating such a nihilistic masterpiece

Ohhh, dear. This is a clash of interest.

See, I'm likely to go with either Slippery When Wet or Greatest Hits by Bon Jovi, because they are my favourite band.

On the other hand, my favourite albums that I've listened to have to be The Spirit Room by Michelle Branch and Matchbox Twenty presents Mad Season. The former is the only album that I have ever listened to without feeling the need to skip any tracks on it, whereas the latter has my favourite song of all time on it (Mad Season).

Conflict of interest is conflicting. :(

i think Manifesto by Deadlock... It is easily the most listened to album on my IPod (my custom created album notwithstanding)

the only bad song on it is "Manifesto", which leads into "Dying Breed"... and it's only bad because I don't like the lyrics! Everything else is awesome!

My favorite album is Tom Waits - Mule Variations. Followed very closely by Tom Waits - Real Gone. In my opinion the best album ever made, however, is In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotal. It's not my favorite album, but it is the best album ever made.

Ooooh, good choice OP. That's way up there. However...

Mine is a three way.

Good man, though I'm going to say Memories of a Time to Come is my favorite, the new And Then There Was Silence... \drool

Otherwise, if that doesn't count, I'm going Nightfall in Middle-Earth, also by Blind Guardian.

Muse's Origin of Symmetry is the clear #1. The way that album starts... just wow.

Silversun Pickup's Swoon, Children Collide's Theory of Everything and Eskimo Joe's Black Fingernails Red Wine are all deserving of a mention too.

Balck Sabbath - Dehumanizer

Now, I don't usually pay attention to albums, because I just put all the songs I have on my playlist but this is the first album I did notice. I was standing there listenign to the songs and said to myself "These last few songs are really good all of them" so I checked and they were all from the same album. It's the only album where I like all the songs (aside from Greatest Hits/compilations, of course).

Bathory's 'Hammerheart' is my all-time favourite album followed closely by Graveland's 'Immortal Pride'. Here is a sample song from each:

I doubt that many (or everyone) here will actually like either, but eh.

Contrary to the avatar, it is not The Wall however in the current time being it is. Since I'll ramble on and on if I picked out all my favourites, I'll choose an album from my favourite artists.

Plastic Beach-The Gorillaz.
The Wall-Pink Floyd.
Discovery-Daft Punk.
Rust in Peace-Megadeth.
Prophet of the Last Eclipse-Luca Turilli.

I still don't have a favourite album for the Beastie Boys >.>.
