Probably Slash's solo album, it was awesome!
I have a problem where I can't really listen to a full album at once because I get bored of the same vocals >.< but he had a lot of different artists which mixed it up a bit.

All-time favourite: Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. Echoes comes a very close second.

My current favourite album to play is West Pauper Lunatic Asylum by Kasabian. Cracking album that is, their best yet.

Wish you were here - pink floyd

has the best song ever (imo, of course) on it, shine on you crazy diamond.

Have a Cigar, Welcome to the machine, and wish you were here are also class, class songs.

EDIT:

Dewolff's ep, dewolff, also great album, bit louder than wish you were here, and no where near as deep lyrics, but great album, with pretty much only good songs on it.

i just love dewolff too much

I don't know why this is one of my favorite albums ever, but I prefer it over other other pink floyd albums. The song are just so powerful and the underlying themes of corporations and tribute to Syd Barrett is just greatly integrated. While it may not be my all time favorite album, I love it to death.

I love you.

For me it would probably be either:

In An Aeroplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel
This, while not my favorite, is a very solid album too. Oh, comely...

I really couldn't choose.
My top albums would be:
The Clash - London Calling
Rush - Moving Pictures
Biffy Clyro - Puzzle
Rancid - ...And Out Come The Wolves
The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound
Gallows - Orchestra Of Wolves
Mastodon - Crack The Skye
Every Time I Die - New Junk Aesthetic

I really wish I could shorten that but I can't. I love them all equally.
You chose Orchestra of Wolves over Grey Britain? Can't say I agree with that, but it's still an awesome album.

I doubt I could pick one, but it would be out of:

Thin Lizzy- Jailbreak
Mastodon- The Hunter/Crack The Skye/Leviathan
Anthrax- Pretty much any album except the late nineties stuff.
Cancer Bats- Hail Destroyer
Metallica- the black album
Streetlight Manifesto- any album
Social Distortion- White Light, White Heat, White Trash
Every Time I Die- New Junk Aesthetic
The Bronx- again, any album.
The Mars Volta- The Bedlam In Goliath
Turbowolf- Turbowolf

Damn me, being indecisive.

Its a toss up between Sinch's "Clearing the Channel" and Memento's "Beginnings"

They are both absolutely fantastic albums and have really unique sounds

The Great Annihilator by Swans.

An album that is both frighteningly dark and ethereally beautiful; The Great Annihilator is a moving mix of post-punk, industrial, neo-folk and various other influences unlike anything out there. I have listened to this album for years now and like a fine wine, it only gets better with age. My favorite album of all time, it would be one hell of an accomplishment for anything to ever top this.
Gonna check that out then. I have 3 of their other albums on my iPod but haven't gotten round to listening to them yet.

This album is fucking awesome. I listened to it virtually non-stop in middle school and I still love it now.
Haha I was literally just listening to this.

As for me, if you'd asked me a couple of years ago, I would probably have said

A year on I would have preferred this.

Eventually, I might have considered this to be my favourite.

These days, I could see either one of these becoming my favourite albums of all time. It takes a while for them to build up that legacy inside me. A lot of my favourite albums were ones that I didn't think much of when I first listened to them. It takes months or years for my to completely fall in love with them and my music taste is still maturing and changing all the time.

(seeing these guys tomorrow(!!!!!!!!!))

The first one with the two Halloween mask wearing people is Brand New's The Devil and God are ranging inside of me.

According to RYM, it's Considered to be one of the best Emotional Hardcore albums ever made (yes, I hate to use the term Emo).

The second one I don't know, but it does look awfully familiar.

Yep. Hmmmm... I can see why people would describe it as Emo but I don't know if that's the best way to describe it, especially since tags like that generally give people the wrong idea about the style of the music since they've been misused so much.

Well...Brand New is more traditional Emo, like Rites of Spring, and Sunny Day Real Estate, not like My Chemical Romance, or Fall Out Boy which lends more to the Pop variety. It's kinda like the difference between Brostep, and Dubstep really, all are of the same category, but have totally different sounds.

Your right though, trying to say that to someone who isn't too clued up on Emo music would be kinda hard, as there's a lot of stigma attached to it, that's mostly why I prefer calling it Emotional Hardcore than just Emo, it's more respectable to the genre I feel.
