I still don't have a favourite album for the Beastie Boys >.>.
It wouldn't just be Licensed to ill?
No :p. Because I listen to their songs from each album, not by albums, I love songs from each album. I'm a fan of Hold it Now Hit it but I also love Intergalactic. But then again So Watcha' Want is good, and so is Triple Trouble.

like the title says, What is your all-time favorite album? not artist, album.

mine is Demon Days by Gorillaz.

before Demon Days, i had never (and still haven't) found an album where i've liked EVERY song on it. it's also one of the few albums i also own a physical copy of, along with my Boston vinyls.

The Human Equation by Ayreon.

The whole album (20 songs) is a story about a guy in a coma and his fights with his emotions and attempts to wake up. The album explores his past (the song about how he became a bully at school is fantastic (Day 8: School) and how he met his wife (Day 11: Love)) and the circumstances of what put him in the coma.

The finale (Day 20: Confrontation) is just awesome!

Gnarls Barkley's "St. Elsewhere".
I loved every song on the album. Not ands, ifs, or buts.

And their follow up "The odd Couple" was just as good. "Blind Mary" being one of my favorite songs ever.

American Rubicon by Cobra Skulls.

17 tracks of perfection. It's consistently amazing, yet incredibly varied at the same time (which is what ruined its successor, Agitations. All the songs sounded the same to me, minus "Six Degrees"), and it's just a hell of a lot of fun to listen to.

If you have the slightest interest in punk/punkabilly, look into this album. It's a masterpiece.

I really couldn't choose.
My top albums would be:
The Clash - London Calling
Rush - Moving Pictures
Biffy Clyro - Puzzle
Rancid - ...And Out Come The Wolves
The Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound
Gallows - Orchestra Of Wolves
Mastodon - Crack The Skye
Every Time I Die - New Junk Aesthetic

I really wish I could shorten that but I can't. I love them all equally.

EDIT:

Good Mourning by Alkaline Trio, Crash Love by AFI, Permission to Land by The Darkness, or Appeal to Reason by Rise Against.

Low content mod filler nommy nom.
All good choices! Goood Mourning is also my favourite Trio album. Crash Love was definitely a stronger album than Decemberunderground although not nearly as good as Black Sails or Sing The Sorrow (in my opinion). Permission To Land blew me away when I was a young'un. Appeal To Reason is definitely my favourite Rise Against album (the newest one is pretty shoddy).
Nice to see another Mastodon fan. OT Crack the Skye by Mastodon, followed very closely by The Hunter, also by mastodon.

Hmmm if I had to narrow it down, I would say... "IV" - Led Zeppelin or "The Winter of Mixed Drinks" - Frightened Rabbit. Both are albums that I completely love and could listen to non-stop for a very long time.

Spoiler'd for image size...

Either Pearl Jam's Ten...

or Bayside's Bayside...

I can't quite decide.

Edit: Actually, Conversation Piece by A Lot Like Birds ranks quite high up there, as well.

It's just so beautiful. It's Finnish symphonic power metal with elements of folk, celtic, old western, blues, jazz, theater, arabian, etc. Simply wonderful.

This is what got me into Nightwish. The opening song is a 14 min epic. Give it a shot.

Most of the tracks have a traditional folk/folk-rock sound, but with a undertone of chaos that sometimes threatens to explode and sabotage the song. That comfort-chaos dynamic still mesmerizes me, even after listening to the album so much.
We are favorite album bros.

For me it would probably be either:

In An Aeroplane Over The Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel

or

Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse

I can see how people could dislike either of them, but to me they are amazingly emotional.

For me, it's a dead heat between Coldplay's "Parachutes" (their first album, basically all acoustic [and before they got super annoying, in my opinion]), and Grandaddy's "Under the Western Freeway", which is an album that came way out of left field for me. I can never decide between the two...

It wasn't the first one that came to mind, but yea, even though i don't like every Song (mainly "All Alone" is what i tend to skip), it still gotta be among my favorites.

Other than that:

Apocalyptica - Reflections (even though not in the Revised Version). I just love what Apocalyptica does, even though i was disappointed of "Apocalyptica" and "7th Symphony". Reflections wins out very closely against the albums not mentioned.

Muse - Absolution, i like the theme, i like Muse, and i like most of the Songs here

Wolfmother...i just like EVERY Song of this Album, weirdly discovered not through "Woman" (i knew the Song, i liked it, but it didn't make me seek out the Band), but through IGN recommending "Joker & The Thief" as Rock Band DLC. When i was on a weeklong trip in spain, i listened to NOTHING ELSE, and i still very much enjoy the Songs.

and my ALL TIME FAVORITE

Ayreon - The Human Equiation

I very much like the idea of concept albums, and as such, i love the output of Ayreon as a project. I also like the usual "weird sci fi" stuff, but "The Human Equiation" is just so touching and relatable as a story, paired with great, and for a lack of a less-overused term, epic songs by great GREAT artists.
It's just awesome.
