Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

Spells the beginning of a series of disgusting misrepresentations of one of my favourite game characters. It almost makes me hate Insomniac for allowing these people to do this.
yes! finally someone with a brain

GTA IV.

Sorry but I don't feel like explaining why because you probably know why.

Halo 3: ODST. If it was a add on like "Lost and the Damned" was for GTA 4, at a similar price of twenty dollars, then I wouldn't have minded too much. But I bought it for one hundred dollars and clocked the campaign that day, already having owned the add on maps in Halo 3. It was alright, but it just didn't warrant the price tag.

Spore, actually that was not disappointment. More like absolute gut wrenching fury. It broke my little gamer soal. I wouldn't usually admit it but I cant lie to myself, that was such a disappointment it actually stopped me being human any more. Damn EA and Will Wright.

Lets not forget that it ripped off Half life 2 quite shamelessly.

Neverwinter Nights 2. While not a disaster, the ridiculous requirements plus stupid bugs and the extremely CRAPPY ending were a big letdown. But oh wait, I found it better than the first game. That's probably because I had good expectations for the 2nd one. Not so much for the first one.

Got quite a few but my biggest have been in the past week. First I bought a copy of Damnation (I like steampunk so I was prepared to suffer the reviewer disapproval) and installed it, turned everything to low settings because I know my laptop isnt brilliant but it can run things pretty well. And actually it can run Damnation, except for the fact my graphics card can't cope with some rendering or other so everything is seen through a sort of digital snowstorm- while I can move and play the game fine, I can't see enough. Had the same problem with my brother's copy of Section 8 which looked brilliant and played well but the wall of snow a metre in front of my gun destroyed it for me... I can't afford a new computer, so I'm going devolve into obscurity as all the new games past me by... the cruelty of age...

Max Payne, the greatness of the gameplay only served to highlight its incredibly short length.

I bought it, took it home, completed it in one sitting and returned it too the shop the same day.

project IGI2 and quake wars.

I played IGI2 for 10 mins and thought:"this is crap, another boring steath game, that you find it impossible to be stealthly in and end up with holes in your teeth!"

And Quake wars....oh Quake wars...for godssake....the amount of information that appears on the screen, the voice commands list, the objectives list, your class traits, where your nearest player is, everything! I know you you could turn off the things on your hud that you didn't need, but then you had to choose what was important.

I played it for 2 days, both times online, I was bored shitless and confused about where the hell I was going or doing.

whatever happened to a "pick-up-and-play" team multiplayer, instead of spending the first month working out how to operate the HUD!
