The first time I ever beat MOTHER.

All the plot twist's that didn't even make sense ramdomly made sense the very second Gigue explained it all.

Just something about it ...

When Shelby died in HR

I was like "Holy Crap! I can finally stop suffering the cruddy jokes!"

When I beat my first match in TF2

I shit my pant's

When I just realized that half of my squad died in HAZE.

I was so happy that I no longer had to subject myself to the bullshitty One-Liner's.

When I first got attacked by a Witch and a Tank at the same time

Let's just say there was so much rendered blood on the wall's it started causing graphical glitches.

In no particular order:

"A Red Letter Day"'s ending in Half-life 2 - seeing the Combine spire ominously come to life and move about, and knowing that it's because of you... and they're coming for you.

The conversation with Sovereign in Mass Effect 2. Best video game villain ever.

The colossal Scarab coming over the building in Halo 3, the first time you see it. Very well done sequence, that.

The second detonation of the SCALAR weapon in BF:BC2... seeing that dead helicopter fly over you into a wall was pretty frightening.

Homeworld... Return to Kharak. 'Nuff said.

...I think that's it.

I have a couple that no one's really using, so I'll just throw em in there.

The first phase of the battle with Trypticon in WFC when you were flying towards Cybertron. The sheer scale quite caught me off guard, definitely warranted a mouth agape.

And someone pointed out Amnesia a little bit ago. Yeah, anyone who's played that game can understand. Props to the devs.

I think the last time I acted that was when I was against a Diablo and Uragaan in the Arena online. I was already having a tough time fighting a Diablo on my own but combine that with Uragaan it was overwhelming (especially when they are both near you using their attacks).

My "Holy shit" game moment was from Bioshock. Would you kindly- plot twist.

I don't know why, but I really have a need to say this: The death note manga was pretty much one big "Holy shit, thats awesome"-moment, with it's plot and everything.

In HALO 3, when the Foreward Unto Dawn goes inter-atmosphere. I just love the music.

He misses the best bit which is that all the debris on the plateau is shunted out of the way by the wind the Dawn brings with it.

I also liked a bit in FNV when I called in the Archimedes 2 for the first time. It was similar to this -

Half Life 2: Early on when several citizens get themselves killed in an apartment raid just for you to escape, and the supercharged Grav Gun.
I think they were just stunned, as they were hit with stun sticks.

The entire ending of Mass Effect 2. That last hour I retain is the most amazing period of gaming I've ever witnessed.

And Shepherd exiting the van in MW2. You probably know what happens then, but that was epic.

When the fucking Termintator reaper comes to life in Mass effect 2.
In Gears of war 2 when the huge worm comes out of the ground and carmine falls down to it's mouth.
Deadspace 2 at the point where the tormenter screams at your face.

Can't come up whit anything else for now.

I was using the sniper in bulletstorm and I was aiming at some guys head on a balcony. I shot it off and steered it, and right as it hit his head, I exploded it.

I saw head pieces fly everywhere, and I killed them all in one hit.

Friggin amazing.

I was flabberghasted at the conclusion of BlazBlue : Continuum Shift. And I was even teary eyed after a certain... sacrifice...

The climax pulled everything together so nicely, answered so many questions. It brought on twist after twist after twist... and then the ending. Next BB please, ArcSystemWorks?

A few for me were...
Demon's Souls The tower knight.
Heavy Rain the lizard trial.
Shadow of the Colossus most of them.
the ending to any Ace Combat game, or just Stonehenge in AC4

A nuke in Civ5 that wiped out two of the enemies cities and destroyed five of their poorly placed units including a Giant Death Robot.

I felt so badass right then, especially since i went "oh fuck me" when i saw they had constructed a GDR five turns before.

Thats the most recent moment i can think of anyway.

In Dragon Age: Origins when...

...Flemeth turned into a fucking dragon

Yeah... That had me and my band of misfits run right back out of the Kokari Wilds.

Ending of Assassin's Creed II when
Minerva looking at the camera, states the whole prophecy was to get this message to Desmond, really caught me off guard.
You think Ezio will ever figure who Minerva was talking to?

The Battle of 1000 Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 2. It was that gameplay moment that, oddly enough, cemented my devotion as a lover of Kingdom Hearts.

Also, I'd say the entire Suicide Mission from Mass Effect 2. The whole thing was just...epic. Yes, even the Terminator look-alike.

In every Metal Gear Solid game, I always had a "holy crap" moment.
Mainly the first time I fought Psycho Mantis.
