Your Destination in a Zombie Apocalypse.

I'll be off to Indianapolis, grab an aircraft capable of flying to Europe, along with a pilot. Then I'm off to find a castle in decent condition. Once I do, I'm going to border up the entrances and live in a castle surrounded by bodies.

my first stop would be "Buck fever" the hunting shop up the road, then to see if I cant highjack a ferry, spend as minimal time in the city as possible then I meet up with portal and either rob him or set to work fortify a castle with him or one adjacent to it, there's probably worse to spend the apocalypse with, might as well be a total stranger

The problems with using castle's are that those which still have walls are too close to civilisation, and you could be easily surrounded. For instance

All the zombies have to do is wait in the car park until the food supplies run out.

Those castle's which are more remote are those which have generally fallen to pieces and so of little defensive value.

Both these castle's are about a 3-4 hours drive from where i live, I've visited both of them. If forced to choose between an urban and a rural castle however, i think i would go for the urban one. Unless, the rural castle had a fully functioning moat. Most castle's don't have a moat anymore, as they have dried up. However i did find this castle here-

Surrounded by water, and with fully functioning wall's, seems great. The footbridge is the one point of entry which could be burned down, provided a boat is acquired for that instance it should be ok. The one problem however is that for me, it's a good six or seven hour drive to get to.

Anyway, in the instance of the zombie outbreak, that there is my fortress.

I'd probably go to a supermarket. But I don't know how I'd survive in England because we can't get guns as easily as Americans. I suppose I'd have to get some melee weapons and hope I can get there in one piece. Then I'd have to make sure there are no zombies in there. It's gonna be hard for us. I don't know how Shaun and his girlfriend survived.

We can fight them will long words and silly phrases. if that fails just hole up in a sports store and just get what u need from there.
well i live in britain an near me theres this huge shopping centre and i mean huge it has everything init so i'd go there and just go to the tool shop and find me some melee weapons and go zombie spotting. no the best way to survive but the most fun by far

That actually sounds alot of fun can i join you in doing that if the zombie apocalypse happens i would love to stand around as the black knight out of monty python and just shout at the zombies none shall pass and hack to bits with a doubled bladed sword or a battle axe

If suicide isn't allowed for whatever reason, then I'd probably go to an old abandoned mine that is quite near my house. It's quite hard to get too, and I live in a fairly isolated area anyway, so I should survive for a while anyway.

The southpole. Just make a heat isolated house stock up with plenty of strippers, guns, food, electricity, internet, water and money and then hunt penguins and seals.

Iqaluit, the capital city of Nunavut, one of the provinces in Canada. Not only is it on an island, but it's frickin' cold. Too cold for zombies to not freeze. It's impossible for zombies to survive up there...so hah. I win.

It would be somewhat difficult to obtain food, though. Also, everyone will be headed north. If you still decide to go there, though, call me up in PEI.

PEI is an awesome idea too. Island...and potatoes. Safety...and poutine. Win.

I would probably just go to Hammerfest or something (its north in Norway). Try to live by hunting and i'd be mostly okay.

China the most populated place in the world so more zombies to kill also with all the people being zombies more supplies for me (bigger cities mean huge population so more food to substane them) so its like huge risk huge reward.

An oil rig off the shore of some Arctic-y place. It will be cold, which freeze most zombies, and they aren't so good at climbing so I'll be pretty safe.

Soooo.To Norway it is.

You do realize that Norway is being heated by the water from the Mexico gulf so we have mild winters and "hot" (if you can call it that) summers

I would stock up on food and just stay at home. I live in a pretty big apartment complex and I live on the 4th floor, and the zombies would have problems opening the electronic main door.

But the oil platform are some 1-200 kilometers from Norway itself.

I love the resident evil movies, I think you would have to be out west in order to use that strategy though

I live in Australia, not america so based on the size of our country to the population, it'd be quite easy to evade zombies outside the main cities
