I'd probably go to a supermarket. But I don't know how I'd survive in England because we can't get guns as easily as Americans. I suppose I'd have to get some melee weapons and hope I can get there in one piece. Then I'd have to make sure there are no zombies in there. It's gonna be hard for us. I don't know how Shaun and his girlfriend survived.
We can fight them will long words and silly phrases. if that fails just hole up in a sports store and just get what u need from there.
well i live in britain an near me theres this huge shopping centre and i mean huge it has everything init so i'd go there and just go to the tool shop and find me some melee weapons and go zombie spotting. no the best way to survive but the most fun by far
Haha that's definitely true. Cracking zombies over the heads with hammers and cricket bats and slicing them up with chainsaws has got to be more fun than just shooting them. Honestly, I'm not a Valve employee trying to sell Left 4 Dead 2 to everyone.

I live on the third (top) floor of a dorm with three heavy steel doors in between me and anyone outside and there's a couple of vending machines in the basement... not to mention all the food that other people have stockpiled up. Also, there's apparently an ENORMOUS generator that can power pretty much the whole campus for a week or three, so if it just has to power my room, I can save a lot of electricity. So honestly, I could just stay here and ride it out, at least for a while. I can make improvised explosives from the various hygienic products I have in here.

The mall, duh.

[small]...cause it's worked out soo great in the past...[/small]
Well, you wouldn't be the only person to think of that. Probably hundreds of other survivors will have joined you to that'll be fun :D
I'd go with a National Guard Depot. Just hop the fence >.> Not like they're going to shoot you at this point.

I'd stay on the road the whole time, like resident evil and that biker gang in the original Dawn of the Dead.
I love the resident evil movies, I think you would have to be out west in order to use that strategy though
I live in Australia, not america so based on the size of our country to the population, it'd be quite easy to evade zombies outside the main cities
Awesome, I have an Australian citizenship, so in the eyes of my government I'm an Australian as well. AUSSIE! AUSSIE! AUSSIE! OI! OI! OI!
Except in my eyes, you're a bogan cricket fan for chanting that lol. Nah, not really, you're probably not that bad. ;)

The woods a few miles outside my town; there wouldn't be any zombies there because there wouldn't be any people to infect and I could just raid a house every week for supplies then get the hell out.

Farm&Fleet... I actually walked in there today and said. "note to self: come to farm and fleet in case of zombie outbreak... bring a bat" Its got power tools, car parts, axes, food, axes, money, axes, slippery oil for traps, axes, picks, axes, pickaxes, and plenty of cloths for bartering.

oh, and did I mention the axes?

after Farm and barn I'd probably go to Alaska. or maybe Washington D.C. I mean the government must have some contingency plan for a zombie attack.

A mall, or else the student union. Leeds University Union is huge and has plenty of food and supplies, and it's easily barricaded, plus it's like a maze inside the building so I can set traps all over the place for added defence. I also live within three miles of a TA base too, so plenty of weapons and ammo there, which is vital of course. Sadly, this being good old Blighty, weapons are hard to come by, but at least I've had training and experience at firing live ammo...

It seems like everyone's going to Canada... I'd drive to the South (guns/ farms), barricade a Wal-Mart, hijack one of their trucks and turn it into my own personal death machine (A-la Death Race) and drive around in it, trying to save what's left of the human race.

do enlighten me with the knolege of said castles name and location
First one is Caernarfon Castle, sited near the coast in NW Wales. Built by Edward I when he conquered the area in 1283.

The second image, the ruined castle, is Rhuddlan Castle and is sited on the North Wales coastline. Built in 1282 by Edward I again, however the castle is sited upon an older Norman castle built around 1082.

Third one is Bodian Castle is in SE England in the county of Sussex. Built 1385 by one of Edward III's ex-knights to repell against French invasion. However according to wikipedia, the moat is actually rather shallow and the walls to thin, suggesting that it was built more for show than as a proper fortress. Dammit.

I'd head up to Churchill, Manitoba. That's pretty much as remote as you can get. And I'm already used to the climate so that's a plus, I'll just need bear repellent.

Image is from a recent 4chan thread, sorry for the unnecessary language.

Costco/Sam's Club could be better because of the larger available stock. But ultimately guns and resources are what matters, so unless your castle also sells 50lb. bags of cheetos and crossbow supplies I think it's trumped.

The COLDEST possible place I could find, most likely Antarctica, or at the very least the much more feasible Alaska. Zombies can't survive sub zero temperatures, body parts freeze solid and cease functioning. Again.

Hawaii (assuming the virus is not water- or air-bourne.). It's in the middle of the Pacific (zombies can't swim) and it has a pre-existing infrastructure and population.
According to the 2005 Romero flick "Land of the Dead", Zombies can cross water.
Really? How? They don't have enough motor co-ordination to swim and they are dead, so they sink.
They walk across the bottom, because (for some reason) they don't need to breath.
Not on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. There's over 900 kilometers of water above you at the bottom. That has got to at least slow a rotting, broken corpse.
Then they'd get et by sharks, and then you would have zombie sharks.
Actually, I think that at such depth, they would simply get crushed by the water pressure.
Same goes for the sharks going that deep.

I think I have to go with a large fishing ship.
Supplies are a non-issue (water cleaner, catching fish anyone?), same goes for zombies.
Plus, if I find enough people and raid docks, I can create my own pirate fleet!
Sorry my above post was refuring to that^
