Also Id have to say FF (Final fantasy games) first one I played was FF7, was amazing, love it still even today for nostalgia feelings.
I played FF8....got around the time after you found out Rinoa was some kinda of angel of death and you were all kids or raised in the same family or orphanage or AHHH WTF WAS WRONG WITH THE STORY?!?!?, I think around disk 2-3 and just stopped playing, I actually hated it.
after FF7 I went back and picked up FF1-6 and they were actually good got my ass kicked many times, damn the games were challenging (I really am confused as the what 1-6 I played since they were translated and numbered differently if you tried to find them in the US at the time)
I took one look at FF9 and said "the hell?" and never played it.
played FF X, and it was fun, liked it and played it through to the end, playing blitz ball pissed me off tho, hated every moment of it, thankfully everything else made up for that bull.
FF X-2....well at least it had scantly clad women to stare at...
FF 12....well at least it had scantly clad women to stare at...
Would have loved to say what I thought about FF13 IF I COULD FUCKING PLAY IT, more cinimatics then MGS4 and thats saying ALOT and I loved MGS4, even if you skip them you have a Idea what WTF your supposed to be doing "destroy metal gear, save the world".
after that I decided FF was done, no more redeeming factor and was dying a horrible death of that of Halo and CoD, filled with fanboys and zealots (tho I think that would be the same thing, meh..) oh and multiplayer is awesome on those games don't get me wrong, but I can only stand 3 weeks of that before its done.
Yahtzee said it best, "when it became more about spectacle the substance, all about skinny 15 year olds looking they were dress up by outfits designed by a achesketch then fed through a threshing machine, endless gardy cinematic, retarded angst drama bloated unwieldy menu driven combat."
