I liked the ending of the first FEAR game. Don't know if it's my favourite but it's the one that shouts the loudest in the noisy clusterfuck of thoughts that is my memory.

Can't see how people like the Fallout 3 ending, it's not that great. The "different" endings are just 4 different narrations, would've been better with no narration at all, just a zoom in on a picture with Liam Neeson and yourself.

For my favorite ending, I will have to go with... Batman: Arkham Asylum. Yeah the final boss was lame, but the big-bang punch you use to finish the boss off is awesome on so many levels that it's better than God.

Half-Life 2 Episode 1 had an awesome ending.

Speeding away from the shockwave on the train and being overtaken by it anyway as cars and trees get ripped up and thrown about around you...it was a great cliffhanger.

I also thought the ending of Oblivion was pretty neat, though it was a little abrupt.

Favourite ending, huh? Well, aside from FFVII I'll have to say either Star Fox 64 or the Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge Allied victory.

Even though it was sappy and wholly predictable, I loved the ending of Final Fantasy IX.

Mass Effect also had a very good ending. It wrapped up the current conflict while leaving pletny of room for a sequel and/or addons.

Also, after I got over my inital anger, the ending of Prince of Peria was good.

The ending of Assassin's Creed actually had me really hyped up for a sequel, thinking "They better fucking make another one!" Lo and behold. Two weeks to go... /happydance

God of War - Whats not to like in that one.
Half-life 2: Episode 2 - that stuff really got to me.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - funny and sweet in that good B-movie kind of way.
Portal - Pure weirdy goodness.

Halo 3 ending was good. Though slightly sad the ending nicely wrapped everything up and ends with one of my all time favorite quotes "Were it so easy". Of course after the credits it turns out Master Chief survives and goes out the same way he stared from the very beginning, in a cryotube.

Also C&C 3: KW had a fun ending. Kane holds the Tacitus towards you, and then the camera zooms towards the Tacitus creating some cool looking CGI light show while playing some awesome metal song.

The ending to Metal Arms: A Glitch in the System was awesome.

Shame they left it at a cliffhanger.
