Your Favorite Game Soundtrack?

One of my favourite games and favourite game sound tracks is Thunderforce IV
Katamari Damacy had an enjoyable soundtrack, because it was completely unlike any other sound track I had heard
Psyvariar 2 had some fantastic music, but this might be because it is my favourite games
Any of the star wars games, but only because John Wiliams had such an excellent score for the films. I was amazed back when I was a youngster by TIE Fighter - the cutscenes, the game and the music coming out of the PC. TIE Fighter did a good job of creating some nice music based on the source material.
In the second example we have a dire game, dreadful acting all made playable purely for the excellent music
Other soundtracks that are enjoyable : Ikaruga, Halo 1&2, Street Fighter IV, too many to mention.

Okami , Chrono Cross , Castelvania ,Metal Gear Solid , Soul Reaver , Mortal Combat and Street Fighter (imo , the last two are cult...)

FFX had some good themes, but I think my favorite thing off a game soundtrack is Triage at Dawn or Path of Borealis, from the Half-Life 2 beta soundtrack.
It's just a fantastic piece.
I'd also say The Legend of Spyro series has had some beautiful moments, ending themes aside, I think their best was with the Dreams:
And to whoever said Still Alive- yes, it's a great song, but I prefer No Cake for You:
(However, the entire soundtrack is great atmosphere music for writing...)

Shawn Lee's score to Bully, by a million miles. It's brilliant, unique, and the only game score I actually listen to just as a piece of music. Why? Because it doesn't sound a thing like game music. Here's the main theme, listen to this and tell me it's not amazing.
My absolute favorite is probably Chrono Cross or Vagrant Story. For music with words in it, Gitaroo Man or Katamari Damacy.
