I rather like RATM Know your enemies guitar solo, but I can't really name a song where I disliked tom morellos guitar work.

Say it ain't So- Weezer
Yesssss, I get bad looks from my friends for liking Weezer, they're just so good...
Don't worry. They're just jealous because we have good musical tastes. :D
I wouldn't mess with these crazy cats!

T.A.Z. by Black Label Society/ Zakk Wylde is pretty cool.
So is the solo for this live performance of Domination by Pantera. Solo starts about 3 mins in.

So yeah, I'd say they were a couple of my faves. There are too many ace solos to choose from really...

I like the Afterlife solo from Avenged Sevenfold. The second solo in Swallow the Razor by Bang Camaro is pretty jammin' too. Some other honorable mentions are the solos in Girl I Know, Scream, and the acoustic solo at the end of Sidewinder.

Hells yeah!
(But I still miss Matt Sharp. Don't get me wrong, though. The other bassists were/are good, too.)

One song that always catches my ears is "Hit the Lights" By Metallica. I nearly flipped when I heard Black Tide play it at Warped Tour. Like half of the song is guitar solo.

Anything by Protest the Hero. But if pressed, I'd say either Blindfolds Aside or Sequoia Throne.

And... on another note, the beginning to Marianas Trench by August Burns Red.

The solo in the acoustic version of Eric Clapton's Layla. It's so damn good. I could think of many others but that one's at the top of my head so there you go.
This. And also "Iron Man".

Comfortably Numb [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkJNyQfAprY] - Pink Floyd
Stairway to Heaven [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxMoesasza4] - Led Zeppelin

My two favorite solos of all time, the fact that Zeppelin's was improv. is just amazing.

The PULSE version of Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd is my personal favorite at the moment.
Though if we count bas guitar soloes as well, it is Anasthesia (Pulling Teeth).

Free Bird, Stairway to Heaven are obvious choices.
I also recommend the solo from Zombie Inc. by In Flames though. Starts about halfway through the song when the acoustic part starts. Awesome.
