In a case of being infinitely more bad-arse than it sounds, the 'Riot Shield' in LAPD Future Cop was essentially a force field doubling as a wave of mass destruction around the player. Switch it on, walk into enemy base and kill EVERYTHING whilst laughing at them.

Experimental MIRV by far. Eight mini-nukes, no telling where they'll go, but who cares? Once you've got this thing they might as well roll credits, 'cause there ain't a single baddie left in the game that can stand up to you.

I have literally used that to lay siege to Evergreen Mills and Tenpenny Tower(though technically nothing happened to the latter). I won many, many times.

I love the Experimental MIRV! It made things less scary... I especially adore it while traveling the wasteland. O_O I had one moment, I was traveling somewhere, and a fuckin' Deathclaw sneaks up behind me and goes all "RWAR!" at me. I freaked, used the Experimental MIRV while in God Mode at point blank range, and... I couldn't even find one bit of the bastard. XD It was awesome.

Well since the MIRV has been taken fairly quickly, I'm going to point out the Alien Blaster from FO3

Seriously. 100% crit chance, shitloads of ammo (the DLC destroyed all hope of making you think before using it) and if bothered to find the Firelance (upgraded version) it lights your enemies on FIRE

and unlike the MIRV/Fatman there's zero chance of you hurting yourself with it.

Fuck! I'm surprised no one has even mentioned Bulletstorm yet. EVERYTHING in just the demo is total overkill so i wouldn't be surprised if they upped the weps even more in the real game. Apart from that, Alex Mercer himself. Just a wrecking ball among glass houses. Good analogy?

Slightly obscure, but the Meteorite Gun in Destroy All Humans 2. Fully upgraded, this suckah could send three meteorites and a small planetoid down onto the screaming civilians.

Ahh, I loved that series. First sandbox I could play where I didn't feel any guilt about killing innocent civilians NPC's. Why did they have to louse 'Path of the Furon' up so much?
