Your favourite game of 2009 (so far!)

So far I've actually only played four games released in 2009.

Best: Braid and Tom Clancy's Hawx.
Somewhere in the middle: Mirror's Edge
Worst: Empire: Total War

Definitely Batman Arkham Asylum.

Agree totally there.

Though a close 2nd is definetly Prototype.

Worst Game this year, thats a tough one.
I say Ninja Blade in my own opinion.
however i'm sure something will knock it off it's throne lol

i've only actually bought on egame so far this year that is from this year, so i'll have to go with the sims 3.

So far it has to be Red Faction Guerilla. For some reason it's strangely satisfying to pound buildings into cinderblock and mortar, especially if you play Wrecking Crew with some friends over! I'm also currently ejoying Shadow Complex, still trying to figure out how to get certain secrets though, so that game's probably gonna last me well into 2010...

Other than those most games I've bought this year are from 08 or earlier, not many games have caught my eye this year (waiting for Brütal Legend and Kingdom Hearts - 358/2 Days with childish glee though...)

I enjoyed halo wars a lot and resident evil 5, both had a long lasting effect with me as I had someone to play them with I was playing both games for a good couple of months after both were released

I think I am the only one looking forward to Alpha Protocol by Obsidian Entertainment. but before that favorite game would be Lost Odyssy

I'm looking forwards to Alpha Protocol, being guardedly optimistic about it.

Favourite game so far is probably Mirror's Edge, even though its not perfect.

Seconded, although this DoW II and Prototype are the only games I've played that came out this year. Prototype was ok but DoW II was far too repetitive to me, Anno wins out by virtue of being the best among the oks.

Halo Wars was nice while it lasted but they only thing that i really got from it was the mythic map pack, though with ODST comin out in a few weeks and havin enjoyed the last few halo games (Wish i still had Halo:CE though) im sure i will also enjoy this one. Modern Warfare 2 on the other hand i know is goin to rock and cant wait for nov. when i can pick it up. oh and the xbox arcade game BF 1942 is also win i only get a few hours a day to play games but that one never lets me down when maybe my other games do.

Prototype, nothing else comes close in my view this year so far. Assassin's Creed 2 looks like it will be very good though
