Just this morning I decided to play some Swat Magnums in Reach on Pinnacle. I normally hate Magnums, but goddamn man I finished with a +13 KD spread. 26 kills, 13 deaths. I looked at everyone else, and the person who was the closest was at +4 or something. And I started and finished a challenge in that match.

In Battlefield 2142.

It was a Titan match, and we were infiltrating their Titan(giant airship for those who don't know). Time was running out, and they were about to destroy our Titan. Not from the inside like we were doing, but by controlling the missile silo's on the ground. Well time was running out, our Titan's health was low, and we just got into the core. We charged in, I was in front with 2 squads at my back. We cleared the room, unloaded on the core, fought off attack after attack, and eventually destroyed it. But it wasn't over yet, we had to escape the thing before it exploded. So we broke out, but there were quite a bit of enemies in our way, also trying to escape. They turned around and started shooting at us. Got most of us as well, I managed to get through them while taking out a few people, but it was just me and 2 others. We ran out to the back of the Titan, and jumped off. We opened our parachutes and glided safely to the ground, just in time to look up and watch the Titan explode.

It was glorious, and definitely an "oh, HELL YEAH!" moment.

The last time I can remember yelling with joy in a game was after beating Super Meat Boy. That was tough.

EDIT: Actually, more recently than that was a rather hilarious moment in Red Dead Redemption. I was playing the mission "An Appointed Time" and I was at the very end, chasing the armoured stagecoach with Allende and Williamson in it. I had killed the guards on horses, and I decided to disable the stagecoach in style. I pulled out my dynamite, went into dead eye, and selected the coach. The dynamite flew from my hand like a guided missile, turning in midair to track the coach. When it hit, all the people on the outside went flying, and the stagecoach itself jumped about 3 feet in the air.

The last was probably in Reach mp.
Ah, customs. The matchmaking in Reach isn't consistantly phenomenal, unfortunately, but it does still have VERY good high points.

I really like using the games' full range of mechanics, so I try to do things like board tanks whenever possible.

The last "**** YEAH" moment for me was near the begining of a Big Team Slayer game on Spire, and the enemy had the only currently alive Falcon and the Banshee, so my team was about to get completely pulverized from the sky. So, I did the only sensible thing available to deal with the dual-murderplane threat. I jumped at the falcon and skyjacked it. And then the banshee came at me and I... Well, I did this [http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=12728814&player=sdnomdE]. Suffice it to say, the banshee pilot was probably VERY shocked at the outcome.

(I actually managed to pull a similar thing [http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=11246708&player=sdnomdE] off in an Invasion game back in December, too. That time it was arguably even better because it was intentional and urgent, and the move was clearly a major factor in winning the round in that it was when we were finally able to defend our core-carrier effectively.)

I think my most intense moment in Reach's MM system ever though was this [http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/FileDetails.aspx?fid=12015091&player=sdnomdE] capture on one-flag on Hemorrhage. Shortly after the teleported I remember shouting through the mic something along the lines of "SOMEONE GET ME A MONGOOSE!"
That reminds me of a particular memorable game on Spire.

It was invasion, tier 3. I was a Spartan piloting the Falcon. Well I got boarded, as I was falling I managed to stick the thing with a plasma grenade, killing the guy. I then look down, and see an elite. He jumped down, and hit that thing that dampens you fall(pushes you up a bit, then you drop). Well I managed to get close enough to assassinate him. So I did that, and stuck the landing.

To recap - I got boarded, stuck the Falcon, then assassinated an elite in mid-air, then landed safely.

It was awesome. But then while I was still standing in awe of myself some douche with a sword killed me.

Still though, it was totally awesome.

I seem to have a weird talent on multiplayer FPS games. I'm not good at them in any way, but my first playthrough seems to be the most fruitful. So, here are my two latests HELL YEAHs in multiplayer FPSs:

- Just started up the Medal of Honor beta and entered a deathmatch server. Picked a side, was put on the battlefield and started prancing about the area most immediate to the spawning point. Wait, who's that? It's a player, alright, but he seems to have no name on top of his--OH SHIT. *blamblamblam*. Just as I was recovering from the first one, another enemy player popped right next to him. And another. And another. In my first minute or so playing Medal of Honor I had a 5 kill-streak. Just made my day.

- I finally bought Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam yesterday, after a month of pondering if it would be really worthwile. I got into a server and spawned with the last class I had played about 6 months ago: Engineer. Just as I was admiring the atmosphere and backdrops, a fucking enemy tank crosses in front of me. I automatically switch to the RPG and shoot it before it can start spraying bullets on me, while frantically running for cover. He hits me, and I get pretty badly wounded, so I stop back against a bunker wall to collect my breath (and possibly, guts.) 5 seconds later, I dive from the other side of the bunker, shooting another rocket that, fortunately, passes through a hole in a wall and hits the tank on the back.

Turns out, BFBC2:V is pretty cool after all.

A few weeks ago I in a 10 vs 10 game in Team Fortress 2, I had 9 of the 10 enemies as Dominated with my sentry gun.. Then later on as a spy I got lucky and all in a row with almost no time in between backstabbed a medic, heavy, soldier, and a scout before getting torched by a Pyro and blown away by a soldier.

When I kept playing through Golden Sun's Venus Lighthouse for hours trying to get the Zodiac Wand. I lost track of the Fenrir's over 100 but I eventually got it! I dropped the game and went "HELL YEAH" then got bored when the shiny went away.

Finishing Dragon Age with that awesome scene of my character killing the Archdemon.
not trying to deny you your moment (cause I know what a pain in the ass that dragon can be) but wouldn't that means your warden died too.....
or did you circumvent that little bit by doing Morrigans ritual?

OT: Despite normally sucking at Black Ops i went 18-2 on Radiation. that and I shot a guy in the ass as he was running with a crossbow. made a screen shot of it and sent/recomended it to him

Anytime in "Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway" when you execute squad tactics perfectly. Whenever you take out 2 or 3 enemy squads without losing one of your own you feel incredible.

Also, I've just finished the "Hells Highway" mission, and there's a part where you must destroy a tank rolling up the road. My men went running and scattered (Not sure if it was a glitch or not) I couldn't be bothered re-ordering them, so I went to take it out myself. I went around a block of houses, took out around 5 Nazis, planted a satchel charge on the tank and ran. That was intense, and made me feel like a war hero

I was playing BFBC2 on Heavy Metal. If you haven't played that map, it is GIGANTIC and meant for vehicle warfare. My buddy and I were sniping from a hill on one side of the map, which is extremely hard because of the distance you have to shoot anybody from. I managed to shoot a sniper and his friend in the head from the other end of the valley in two shots. I was pretty proud of that because they were hiding in trees and I couldn't tell what was tree and what wasn't
