Mount and Blade Warband--10$ Steam sale, yay. Yes, it was worth the money. Singleplayer's still great fun and there are a massive number of mods, and multiplayer has a steep learning curve but is still pretty enjoyable.

Supreme Commander 2--$3 Steam sale. This won't actually run on my computer, so I can't gt the full scope on whether it was worth it or not, but seriously, three bucks for a massive RTS that's less than a year old? I'm not complaining.

Just Cause 2--$50, my only purchase on release day! Worth it; so very worth it. There's so much fun to be had there it seems unbelievable. Now someone just needs to take the 400-square mile world and make a giant RPG with it.

My last three game purchases:

The Shoot: Totally worth the 40 Euros for the best Move title so far (in my opinion, of course)

Star Wars TFU2 Collector's Ed.: Somehow regret it. It's not bad, just short (5-6 hours on Hard difficulty) and stupid story-wise. The 80 Euro price tag didn't help either. Somehow I expected a lot more in terms of variety (levels/enemies) from the first TFU.

Fallout New Vegas Collector's Ed.: In stark contrast to TFU2, this game has tons of stuff in it (still playing) and really nice extra stuff in the box. Totally worth the 80 Euros, even if zone transitions still scare me with potential console lockdown every time, like Fallout 3. At least the game got it's point across right from the start with announcing the infamous "corrupt firmware" error message during the very first start.

Fallout: New Vegas - not worth it. $60 is too much for Fallout 3 with a smaller map and lamer quests.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - SO worth it! $10? yes please!
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift - Also SO worth it, especially since it was only like $45.

Hell no...

My last 3 purchases:

Metroid: Other M -- This game wanted so hard to be a 3D "Metroid: Fusion" and it succeeded completely. Unfortunately, "Metroid: Fusion" sucked ass. $50 down the crapper.

Castlevania: Lord of Darkness -- The gods only know WHAT this game wanted to be. God of War? Shadow of the Colossus? The only thing I know for sure: It doesn't want to be "Castlevania." $60 pissed into the wind.

Ys Seven: Good old fashioned JRPG, with all the merits/flaws of that genre. Or it would be, if I could play the damn thing. Since the UMD wants to install a firmware update that serves no purpose other than to deny me the ability to use my hardware as I like (Yay SNES emulation), it goes back in the box. $40 spirited away.

It seems like we get a choice these days of expensive mediocrity, or hostile control-freak power-grabs.

Well lets see.
Blur - for the price, it's rather good.
Saints row 2 - definitely worth it, more fun co-op though.
Orange box - Mostly for tf2, but half life and portal are good fun as well.

Fable 3 - Totally worth it. Spent all weekend playing it and got up to a few days after becoming the King. Definitely gonna play through it again later after I beat it.

Minecraft - Definitely worth it. Currently working on a massive construction project to build a dwarven-style city inside a hollowed out mountain.

Fallout New Vegas - Fuck yea! Went through the main story the first week it came and pretty much immediately started a second play-through.

Rock Band 3 - Dunno because I haven't been able to play yet. Doing so would update my Wii and prevent me from using Smash-Minus... when I get a new Wii to play new games on, I'll get back to you. As of now, not worth it... also... couldn't find the box set anywhere, and now I can't find drums... Le sigh...

Halo Combat Evolved & Halo 2 - Bought both online for the PC to test them out... Disappointed with Halo 1 because its so damn boring. Not the amazing FPS that was so overhyped back in the day. All I'm doing is babysitting retarded AI bots while driving around. At least let me man the turret and you guys can drive... but then they'd probably crash us into a wall or something.

Left 4 Dead & L4D2 - Old Steam account got hijacked and I bought new copies of the games and made a new account while I waited for Valve to fix the issue (which was resolved eventually, Thanks Valve). Doing so, I was able to partake in the Sacrifice release upon release date, AND I did it all for only about $10... probably the only recent purchase I didn't regret. :D

Enslaved - Not done with yet, but so far the story and gameplay are good. Whether it's worth $60 will depend on where this all goes.
Uncharted 2 GOTY - Yes

My most recent purchase was Fable 3. It has grown on me so I guess it was worth it after all.

Fallout New Vegas: It was very, very worth it. Love that game x3

Dead Rising 2: It's great but I miss free-mode...well, the official free-play mode.
