I don't tend to play as warriors. Nothing against them, they just seem so boring. Just get an axe and some armor and hit things a bunch.

On the other hand, Mages have tons of different spells to get out of a variety of situations. Depending on the time, it takes either a great load of skill or time to use mages effectively. Plus, it's really fun to light things on fire. That's my second favorite class.

My favorite has to be stealth, either thief or assassin depending on my mood. Perhaps it's because I'm not very stealthy in real life, but nothing pleases me more than being able to go someplace complete undetected. It's even better when you have the option to kill people silently. Being one step away from being caught and killed and succeeding despite it: Nothing is more fun to me.

Rogue, because the less skill checks the better for me. I usually go druid and set every spell to Summon Animal if I can

Mages. Maybe I just play simpler, but I prefer smashing someone's skull in with metal more than lighting.

Unless I'm a Jedi, then lightning is a prerequisite.

Mages.
Fucking pussy little bitches, staying back and casting spell and shit. Gimmie something pointy, or heavy or something.
Real men beat things to death with their bare hands. Monk all the way mother fucker!!!

OT: Any tank-y class. I leave the damage sponging to someone else. I prefer to dps or heal.

I do not play bards, fuck that....

No seriously, fuck bards. I never use them due to the fact they lack in combat ability.

"Oh look I am charismatic."

"Yes try using your harp and huge amount of charisma on those Hobgoblins you fucking prat!"

I don't usually take the role of the pawn fighter. I prefer role of the God tactical genius that directs the battlefield Wizard.

Rogues, the amount of hit points they get at 1st level. Yeah, not much.

Captcha: Paper plate

That is how I would describe rogues.

Warriors/Barbarians/Knights etc. The tanks. I rarely find myself excited by the idea of wading into legions of bad guys with a sword/axe/glaive etc.

I think I had my fill of that with Too Human, Ninety-Nine Nights and Dynasty Warriors.

Warriors

Normally I stay clear of that class. For several reason actually.
1) in online games they are meant to be tanks but have no decent mechanics for doing so
2) In half the games they have shit animations
3) slow mofo's

I usually play a mage type and in some games the rogue. Strangely enough, on swtor I play a sith warrior (immortal juggernaut) and I rather like it. Good mechanics for tanking. Some decent damage and like the name suggests (immortal juggernaut) -> an unstoppable tank of death.

Same. My sword doesn't run out of charges. Give me some good steel and I'll be happy.

I can't stand Bards. If i want a Charisma based character, I'll be the dashing thief or sorcerer.

The one I play least is probably a straight out warrior archetype, though admittedly I still play that a fair amount. I just play everything else more.

I don't play as warriors/fighters/barbarians. That doesn't necessarily include Paladins and Clerics, I just like my classes with more options than simply bashing everything in sight.

My most preferred alter ego would be a Rogue/Thief/Hacker because they usually force me to think before I act and have to use their skill set. Second would be a mage, mostly because of the same reason.

Ranger or Bard. I love playing mages, but staying at range and shooting bows is much less fun than staying at range and shooting fireballs and explosions. Bards are also way too support-y for me, they can barely fight and are pretty much useless without other people to do all the killing for them.

I never play straight up fighters. I usually go with some form of a magic user or a mage/fighter hybrid.
