Twice, now, I have read the title of this thread while scratching my face, and my left index finger has ended up in exactly the same place each time. This is irritating.

Destroyed my labtop (NOOOOOOOOOO!) and given my left leg around the kneecap area a moderate bullet wound.

Not too bad, straight through the floor. Mind you, the boiler room's underneath, so I fear we could be without hot water or worse...

I just shot a hard-to-see patch of wall beneath my desk; with any luck, I killed a rat or two. So really, f**k all.

Right through my abdomen... worryingly close to the business end of my body.

Not that business,

that business.

I can no longer see my laptop screen .... OMG NO MORE ESCAPIST!!! END OF THE WORLD...

ok maybe not. But certainly 1 half of my screen is now buggered lol. Either that, or i need a hand removing a dead body as my fiance was in the way of the bullet also =D

Erm ... that kind of depends on the calibre, doesn't it?

Hand-charge .177cal airgun, maybe I'd have damaged my trousers ... maybe.

.22LR, I'd have put a lot of holes in my trousers, scorched them and some of my leg and also made a hole in my carpet, then the ricochet would have done something. The recoil would have hurt too.

5.56x45mm, I'd have lost the finger or a large part of the hand from the recoil, and probably blown a hole in my left foot or my right ankle, and the ricochet would have ... er ... maybe taken out a potted plant or part of the table, or maybe part of my right leg?

110mm, I wouldn't be answering, would I?
