Firefly, naturally.

Also, while I understand the reasoning behind Ouran High School Host Club's mere 26 episodes, it's ending fills me with irrational depression.

The ending of Life made me very, very sad as well.

damn, you guy hit up my big big ones (Brisco County Jr., Code Monkeys, and Kindred: The Embraced) now I have to throw some thought into it

Glory Days - Anyone remember this one from WB/UPN?
Dangerous Games - Christopher Lloyd as an excaped video game villian
Lazarus Man - A western that starts with a man crawling out of his own grave with amnesia
Murder in Small Town X - Yes, it was a reality show but it deserved at least ONE more season

I know there are several others but I can't think of them right at this morning

Drawn Together. Any show that constantly ridicules people of all races and religions wins it for me. Especially since they joked about being canceled before other seasons were created.

Firefly Dollhouse(being canceled for those unaware) Drive seemed cool, Dead Like Me, Wonder falls and probably a couple of other shows I loved.

Was sad to see the TV series "Life" only had 2 seasons. To me it was so entertaining, almost cried when I realized it wasn't coming back. :'(

I thoroughly enjoyed the show journeyman a couple years back. although i didn't find the story all that innovative -
(man randomly travels back in time at unknown intervals and has to do...something, or someone will die or something will happen yaada yada yadda)
I, a fan of time travel and intertwining universes etc. found it more engrossing than many shows on at the time.

Secondly Life on Mars (american version)with its amazing cast should have survived longer than it did. guess ill just have the Britt one to watch.

Firefly: I didn't really get into the show until after it was over, but that something that great could fail shows how much of a dead zone Friday nights can be.
Clerks The Animated Series: They adjusted the order the episodes would air in and it still got cancelled after 2 episodes. Stupid ABC.
Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies: All made by Bryan Fuller, all cancelled way way too soon.
Reaper: They could have written it to an end but the network dangled the carrot of possible renewal in front of them and then left them with an unsatisfying series finale.

I'm sure there's many more, but those are the ones that come to mind the quickest.

Eerie Indiana for me. Mind you, the second series never quite matched up to the first.

Still, I've yet to watch another kids show half as sophisticated.

FLCL

Seriously, if you watched it, you know what I'm talking 'bout!
Both of these really make the cut. FLCL would have taken a spectacularly different direction after she left though. Either it would have followed her in the search of her lover/prey, or it would have followed his adventures with the crazy things coming out of his head.

Firefly...

There remains hope that it will return - either building up the time between the end of the first season and the entrance of the series ending movie, OR playing into the post movie madness that ensued.

Black Books.

The show ended abruptly after 3 seasons and the last episode gives no hint of it being the last episode and nor is it one of the better episodes of the series.

I was thinking that this thread might as well be called "who else likes firefly." I do. A lot.

Firefly.. obviously.

Surface. They didn't even show the final couple of episodes in Australia and I had to download them to watch and find out what happened for the end of the season even.. It was getting really cool! ><

Umm.. I don't actually know the name of it, but there was a show with a priest who was investigating strange religeous phenomeon for the vadican or whatever and he was slowly being hinted at some serious big bad.. I'm pretty sure it only lasted a few episodes, but it seemed like it was gonna be good and then just disappeared.

Enterprise! I don't care that old gen trekkies mostly hated it, I thought it was cool to see the Vulcans as not so pristine squeaky perfect and seeing how the Federation was slowly being built was cool..

Pushing Daisies. Unrealistic? Yes. Visual feast and a great show to be boot? You bet your sweet ass.
