The Eggo Corollary: If you make a post that is clearly and concisely written, someone will assume that you were debating with them, whether or not you really were, and call your opinion a straw man argument, or post a picture of a Scarecrow. At the end of the debate, he will say that he agreed with you all along.
The Logical Fallacy Probability Principal
The probability of words like 'strawman', 'ad hominem', and 'reductio ad absudum' being used increases as an internet argument becomes more and more incoherent.

Spleeni's third law of debate:
  • If a debate runs for either more than five minutes speaking, or 3 pages typing, then the argument becomes moot. Everyone who participated in said debate is merely attempting to extend their e-peens or grow their e-boobs.

M0rph law of foruming

No matter what you post about, good, bad or neutral, someone, somewhere will disagree with you and want to start a flame war with you. Wether they actually get the nerve to do so and wether or not you can control your impulse to flame back before the mods break out the ban hammer can influence the severity of the flame war

Anarchemitis's Law of Internet Popularity via Egotism and Self-Obsession Greater than None
  • States that you will become highly popular on the internet if in a highly public fashion you make yourself out to be highly popular, in a realistic fashion. This is not to be indulgent to reinforce your possibly less-esteemed self but to be Charismatic in an uncanny way.
Cited proof:

You may be, but you don't constantly pretend that your popular, making you popular.

And i love you.

I thought about making a law for this... but decided against it.

A body in evil, stays in evil. And for every evil, there is an equal and opposite stupid.

Xhumed's Law of Lift Acquirement
The longer your shift at work, and the hotter the day, the less likely it is you will be able to acquire a lift home, and will be required to trudge to the train station. The likelihood halves again if your uniform is made from polyester.

Xhumed's Law of Dawn Of War Ally Drop-out
The longer it took to acquire all the players for a multiplayer match, and the larger the teams, the more likely it is that all or most of your allies will drop out within 30 seconds of the match starting, leaving you essentially screwed.
Every. Gothdamned. Time.
