I personally prefer my Ps3, I originally got it because I heard Final fantasy XIII was going to be exclusive for it (which it wasn't) however, I keep it over another system because it can play all my old PS2 and most of old PS1 games (old 80 gig FTW), the online is better (yay playstation network) it can do some niffty things with my PSP (hurray for FF9 on a hand held) it durable (old 80 gig most Xbox owners I know have gone through two to three Xboxs since I got my PS3, actually all Xbox owners I know. Graphics (that Wii can't compete what with its worse that PS2 Era graphics)
However, there is one MAJOR crippling thing that makes me consider getting rid of it for an Xbox and its same reason I don't play Rift. All of my friends have Xboxs, when your a low budget gamer on a small island in the middle of nowhere and you can only buy games when you get to travel once a year, you REALLY depend on borrowing and exchanging games with friends. I haven't played a new game in over a month thanks to the fact that all my friend's bought Xbox 360s so all I have is my copy of FFXIII *shudders* a huge inventory of PS2 games and fallout 3 *which I got bored of over a year ago*
As for the Wii, its got the best inventory of exclusives. No more heroes, Brawl, Red steel II, this fun little Naruto game, Dokapon kingdom, the list goes on and on and on, if your a rather social guy and you like to have friend's over for a night of gaming I suggest the Wii.
The computer is by far the most complicated, most expensive, most powerful system of them all. The computer is the Linux of gaming, its complex and better.
Handhelds I suggest PSP because it doubles as a MP3 player, photo album, cellphone when your in range of internet, portable movie player when traveling, it looks like theres even a camera attachment that can be added to it, u can just change the name to take a note. plus the games have better graphics then most Wii games. I'm looking at you crisis core.
Why do people keep acting like graphics don't matter anymore, you know they do, sure not as much as story or game play but its a VERY nice assistant to deliver those things. Heck thats kind of what makes it a VIDEO game and not just a game or a book.
