The main reason why i got my Xbox 360 was so i could play Halo 3, but I've found a ton of awesome games since then and I'm having a ton of fun with it.

Though some times i wish i had a PS3 instead, i'm always worried that my xbox is going to explode at some point.

PC: I enjoy customizing my rig, and I like the portability of laptops.

PS3: Its fun. And I enjoy the library more. Generally if I cannot play it on the PS3, I can do so on my PC.

I'm white enough to own all the consoles.

Plenty of exclusives on the PS3/360 to warrant owning both.

Have a DS for travel and a laptop that's decent enough to play Oblivion.

[sub]The less said about the Wii, the better...
Although it's still totally worth it for Monster Hunter Tri and the Metroid Prime trilogy.[/sub]
YEAH WHITENESS! *high five*
My personal favorite is my PS3. The only real reason I play my Xbox is for the occasional exclusive and to play multiplayer with friends. The PS3 tends to have a better single player experience in my opinion.

While i have been both blessed and cursed to own both a 360 and PS3
I would say i like my Ps3 better, 3 words
Demons Souls, Blazblue, and its quietness.

I personally prefer my Ps3, I originally got it because I heard Final fantasy XIII was going to be exclusive for it (which it wasn't) however, I keep it over another system because it can play all my old PS2 and most of old PS1 games (old 80 gig FTW), the online is better (yay playstation network) it can do some niffty things with my PSP (hurray for FF9 on a hand held) it durable (old 80 gig most Xbox owners I know have gone through two to three Xboxs since I got my PS3, actually all Xbox owners I know. Graphics (that Wii can't compete what with its worse that PS2 Era graphics)
However, there is one MAJOR crippling thing that makes me consider getting rid of it for an Xbox and its same reason I don't play Rift. All of my friends have Xboxs, when your a low budget gamer on a small island in the middle of nowhere and you can only buy games when you get to travel once a year, you REALLY depend on borrowing and exchanging games with friends. I haven't played a new game in over a month thanks to the fact that all my friend's bought Xbox 360s so all I have is my copy of FFXIII *shudders* a huge inventory of PS2 games and fallout 3 *which I got bored of over a year ago*
As for the Wii, its got the best inventory of exclusives. No more heroes, Brawl, Red steel II, this fun little Naruto game, Dokapon kingdom, the list goes on and on and on, if your a rather social guy and you like to have friend's over for a night of gaming I suggest the Wii.
The computer is by far the most complicated, most expensive, most powerful system of them all. The computer is the Linux of gaming, its complex and better.
Handhelds I suggest PSP because it doubles as a MP3 player, photo album, cellphone when your in range of internet, portable movie player when traveling, it looks like theres even a camera attachment that can be added to it, u can just change the name to take a note. plus the games have better graphics then most Wii games. I'm looking at you crisis core.
Why do people keep acting like graphics don't matter anymore, you know they do, sure not as much as story or game play but its a VERY nice assistant to deliver those things. Heck thats kind of what makes it a VIDEO game and not just a game or a book.

I prefer the 360, simply because I've grown accustomed to the controls. The PS3 controller seems alien to me now, even after the 3+ years I was playing the PS2 for. I have all 3 major consoles as well as a DS, and I have definitely spent the most time on the Xbox. Also, I think Xbox does online gaming better than all the other consoles.
OMG i know

when i went over to play black ops zombies on his PS3...the controls felt Weird and unusual

Console-wise, PS3.

PC.

Mouse and Keyboard. and 360 Controller when required (racers mostly)
Better Graphics (DX11 for example)
Minecraft <3

Plus I built it myself, it stands 4 feet tall. Jet Black, with Steel Plates hinged over the front (ThermalTake Armor) and it pours out with UV and Daylight Neon Blue.

I have a PS3 which I still play a little but I'm starting to move towards the PC because of the great sales that Steam has. It allows me to buy more games than I would be able to for my PS3 and for less money. I've only had Steam for less than a year but have acquired more games for it than my PS3 which I've had for 3 years now.

I've got xbox360, psp, DS, a Wii, and of course a computer.

When Xbox first came out I loved halo and the other FPS games, and the controller design was/ still is definitely superior to the other consoles. Then I played Morrowind and I was hooked. Best game ever, so I had to get a 360 to see what the next one would be.

The psp is nice but it just couldn't compare to the DS in really any way to me.

The Wii was fun, at first. But the whole motion sensor thing got old really fast, and I stopped caring about it.

Anymore I pretty much just play PC games. RPGs and MMOs have become my favorite genres when I game.

At this point, it is probably honestly just because I have it. I wont refuse to play a PS3, and hope to have one eventually, but at first it was too expensive, and primarily an expensive bluray player. I like games, not movies. Also I hated Sony overall for how they acted. They have gotten better, including their commercials which went from elitists, to hillarious. (I love the current ad style)
The controller too. It is rounder, and feels better to me.
Not in effect yet, but the Kinect, should I get one, seems superior than PS move. Can always add a device, harder to remove one.

I like my 360 more than the ps3 for a variety of reasons. The main one was that the 360 was cheaper when it came out. The secondary reason is because the ps3 has no exclusives that interest me, compared to me liking nearly all of the 360 exclusives. The third reason is because I have never had any kind of playstation, and I had the original xbox, so the 360 seemed like the logical choice.

EDIT: I also love my PC, for obvious reasons, but I never think to mention it because I forget that there are gamers that exist that don't use one.

Ps3 and PsP because my laptop is great at everything except gaming. I want a gaming PC, but most employers in my area will not hire anyone under 16, so getting a job isn't going to be easy until October.

I've got reasons to like each system.

Wii - It's got a few exclusive titles worth playing, Netflix is implemented better than on the 360, it has the types of games my girlfriend likes, so since I'm more flexible about the games I'll play than she is, it's something I get to do with her. Bonus that it's her Wii and I just had to keep my GC controllers.

360 - It's got Plants vs Zombies with Co-op and vs Mode. Other than that, really just a few other titles that aren't available elsewhere, or run poorly on the PS3. I prefer Catherine box art for the 360.

PS3 - Online multiplayer is free, no stupid points system for buying content off PSN, blu-ray and home theatre system integrated, easy ripping of music CDs, massive list of exclusives I like. More of my friends like the PS3 than 360, Wii comes in second, 360 third.

PC - First Person Shooters, I love them. At this point I haven't had a chance to try Move shooters on PS3, but I really want to see how it goes. Free online multiplayer is also great, along with the rest of the strong points of the PS3. I'm not so fond of my laptop overheating in FEAR though, but that's more that it's a crappy laptop with the same quality as the average 360.

OnLive - It doesn't make my laptop overheat, so I can keep playing First Person Shooters. If I had a PS3 right now (I just used my roommate's before), I might not care much as I'm mostly playing UTIII on OnLive.

PS3 & PC are my personal preferred systems, they both have a strong overlap in features (IE, tons of stuff the Wii and 360 just don't have), and they've got the largest list of exclusives. Between the two of them, a 360 is pretty pointless to own. The Wii is kind of like the PS2 - massive catalog of games with backwards compatibility. The PS2 has an excellent selection of RPGs, the Wii doesn't have an excellent selection of anything, but it does have enough titles to make a good number of random games that are fun to play.

XD hilarious. And yeah once you have a decent job it's all too easy to just buy everything. Which is exactly what I did too. My Wii so far is just there for gamecube games and keeping the dust off of a small portion of my furniture.

If I had to absolutely pick one of my systems it would be the 360 just because I really do enjoy Gears of War, Fable and Mass Effect. I would very much miss MGS4 and Demon's Souls though.
