I'm jealous of a couple of these:

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band(Santiago Barnabeu 2008 Madrid,Spain):AWESOME!
Bruce Springsteen With the Seeger sessions Band(Point Theatre 2006 Dublin Ireland)
Iron Maiden (Super Bock Super Rock 2008 Lisboa, Portugal)
Neil Young,Rage Agaisnt the Machine,(Optimus Alive! 2008 Lisboa, Portugal)
Rush (Wembley Stadium 2007 London, England)
Bruce Springsteen is my favorite songwriter ever, and the Seger Sessions record was flat-out amazing. Sounds awesome. Also, Neil Young with Rage? Wierd, but awesome.

I think a top 3 could be...

Coheed & Cambria / The Ocean (2008)
What made this concert so great was the obvios joy with which the band played, the incredible skill they have as musicians, and the fact that ehy played in a rather intimate venue. I have never been so moved at a concert as I was at this. The support was great too.

Iron Maiden /Avenged Sevenfold / Lauren Harris(2008)
Second time I saw them, and far better than the first, on their "A Matter of Life and Death Tour". "Somewhere in Time" had all the great tracks, had amazing sceneshow, and it was outdoors on a nice summerday. Avenged Sevenfold kicked ass, even though they only played 6 or so songs. Lauren Harris was as meh as they come... But that meant we had some proper time to drink beer, leaving our mouths free to sing along to the other two acts :)
I've seen Coheed 3 times, the first time with Thrice and Thursday (meh) then about a year and a half ago with Clutch and Fall of Troy. FOT sucked ass, but Clutch and Coheed were AMAZING. I should have included that in my list to begin with.

Iron Maiden and A7x huh? I've always wanted to see Maiden live, but being that I live in the USA, I'm pretty much fucked. Oh, and FUCK Avenged Sevenfold. They played a neighboring town last year, and were complete assholes. My buddy worked for a radio station and essentially made the show happen, and they treated him like shit. Fuck them. I met their singer in 2003 and he was awesome. We chatted for a long time and he was so nice. Now, apparently he's a giant douche.

I went to a brand new concert once and the only thing I have to say about it is they played for 4 hours because there supporting band didn't show up and that's impressive.
I love those guys.

does it have to be music? XD

I once saw Lee Evans live, it was amazing, everyone there was laughing ^_^
i dont like seeing music live, people screaming and yelling stuff while they're playing, i just wanna hear the music, not "I LOOOOVE YOOOOOOU" from some random girl sitting 10 rows away XD

Oh snap. That's the Clarity tour, right? My buddy Ammon is driving down to Denver for it. If you see a goofy looking dude with giant red sideburns and gravel in his face, tell him JP says he's gay ... but sexy.

Audioslave w/ Seether in Portland, Maine a few years ago - Both bands were great, just a good, solid performance.

Tool w/ Isis in Manchester, New Hampshire - Tool was just amazing, they played perfectly and enthusiastically. I had never heard Isis before, but as far as I could tell they weren't anything great. It may have just been their sound setup.

I'm going to Portland again to see Clutch on the 26th, hoping that will be a good one!

And stormcaller - I understand where you're coming from. That Clutch concert will probably be the last one I go to. When you just listen to the music at home or in your car or whatever, you don't have to travel anywhere, deal with any assholes, and have control over what's played and how loudly. I've been to a few shows, and that's plenty, thank you very much :D

I've only seen one live concert: A Bob Dylan concert. The opening band was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Yeah, that Tom Petty. Petty was great, and when Dylan came out, they did two songs together, but then Dylan was a disappointment. All his songs were very un-dylan like. He was very clearly trying to be popular with the younger generation (of which I am a member) by playing some pseudo-metal crap, and I and many other people left early.

OH! Just remembered. I saw Ray Charles just a bit before he died, he was amazing. So I guess that's my best concert.

The first concert I went to always sticks out in my mind. I went to see Cheap Trick with my dad and brothers. I was 11 years old.

Also, Motörhead had one of the best 'intros' I've ever seen; The lights slowly went up, the band walked out on stage Lemmy says into the mic "We're Motörhead we came here to fucking play rock and roll." Then he kicked over his sound monitor and they began playing. It was awesome in it's stark simplicity.

Ozzy Osbourne at Ozzfest is nuts; there is a reason he's a legend.
I've seen Bad Religion play 6 times and it still isn't enough.

Dragonforce get a bad rap for their live show, but this was the fourth time I have seen them and they were AMAZING.
Yes, I can not understand where people are getting that 'they suck live' crap from. I saw them in 2006 and asses were kicked and faces were melted. Ya know those old metal videos from the 80's where they can make shit happen by being so awesome at the guitar like fly or or shoot motor shells? I was expecting that to happen at any given moment.
Also if you dig Dragonforce you might like Cellador.

Cool, I will keep an eye out. I'm driving about 6 hours to go with some friends, we have been planning this since the beginning of October. I am looking forward to it, the last real ticketed concert I have been to was that Moody Mlues concert I mentioned. I don't think the Sweetwater County Fair counts, since the concert was free. But if you count them, the last one was Switchfoot, then War, then Three Dog Night.

now if I could just make it to a Styx concert. Gotta save me some money to go to Vegas with if I want that to happen though.
