I'm jealous of a couple of these:
Iron Maiden and A7x huh? I've always wanted to see Maiden live, but being that I live in the USA, I'm pretty much fucked. Oh, and FUCK Avenged Sevenfold. They played a neighboring town last year, and were complete assholes. My buddy worked for a radio station and essentially made the show happen, and they treated him like shit. Fuck them. I met their singer in 2003 and he was awesome. We chatted for a long time and he was so nice. Now, apparently he's a giant douche.
Bruce Springsteen is my favorite songwriter ever, and the Seger Sessions record was flat-out amazing. Sounds awesome. Also, Neil Young with Rage? Wierd, but awesome.oliveira8 said:Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band(Santiago Barnabeu 2008 Madrid,Spain):AWESOME!
Bruce Springsteen With the Seeger sessions Band(Point Theatre 2006 Dublin Ireland)
Iron Maiden (Super Bock Super Rock 2008 Lisboa, Portugal)
Neil Young,Rage Agaisnt the Machine,(Optimus Alive! 2008 Lisboa, Portugal)
Rush (Wembley Stadium 2007 London, England)
I've seen Coheed 3 times, the first time with Thrice and Thursday (meh) then about a year and a half ago with Clutch and Fall of Troy. FOT sucked ass, but Clutch and Coheed were AMAZING. I should have included that in my list to begin with.Longshot said:I think a top 3 could be...
Coheed & Cambria / The Ocean (2008)
What made this concert so great was the obvios joy with which the band played, the incredible skill they have as musicians, and the fact that ehy played in a rather intimate venue. I have never been so moved at a concert as I was at this. The support was great too.
Iron Maiden /Avenged Sevenfold / Lauren Harris(2008)
Second time I saw them, and far better than the first, on their "A Matter of Life and Death Tour". "Somewhere in Time" had all the great tracks, had amazing sceneshow, and it was outdoors on a nice summerday. Avenged Sevenfold kicked ass, even though they only played 6 or so songs. Lauren Harris was as meh as they come... But that meant we had some proper time to drink beer, leaving our mouths free to sing along to the other two acts![]()
