Whenever I play a tactical game and I'm running away from enemies in dark, cramped areas, I always get really scared all the time.

This statement seems like it should rip a hole in spacetime. Or possibly just make an android's head explode.
Good thing I came installed with anti-paradox crumplezones.

Playing Ravenholm, the stories seem so gruesome.
Raveholm ain't that bad, only thing that'll give you trouble are posion headcrabs, if you get hit, don't panic. Just kill it and wait for your health to go back up.

Though, the psychological terror of knowing there's something that can drop your health to one point in one stroke is a little disturbing, yet fun!

As for the OP, enemies on the ceilings. Not turrets, mind you, I mean barnacles and Wall masters....haaiiighh!

Yet the barnacles ain't got me yet, oh no, no no!!

Trying to defend a point in Gears 2 horde after you're teammates have fled or died.

Once I was defending the arcade with my brother and some teammates. I told him to help me focus gunfire on the side entrance, when suddenly I noticed that all of them had left. Except for one of them. One of them had tried to flee, but he got shot by a bunch of locust. He slowly crawled away before a blood mount finished him off.

I soon suffered the same fate.

That's my big one right there. When I get into really long games, I tend to make backup saves if ever I can.
It's even worse with "eggs in one basket" syndrome with the PS2 memory cards. Losing or reformatting one of those could cost a stomach-wrenching amount of hours.

Getting the Redeemer/Dark Matter Gun (Seriously, they should have called it the Dark Matter Cannon)/WhateverthehellyourUBERweaponiscalled, only to be headshotted/ran-over/killed in general in some way shape or form. On finding the person who killed you, they pull out the Uber-Weapon you dropped when you died.

Time to swear, kids.

- Losing my save data.
- If you hear the sound of a zombie horde coming (you know the music) on Expert, but your teammates are nowhere to be found (same counts for a tank).
- Death Claw's sneaking up on you in Fallout 3.
- Blockers in Counterstrike or almost any other online FPS. When you're under fire, gotta reload but when you're almost at your cover, some retard teammate stands in the way, dies and takes you with him because you couldn't get behind the damned cover.

I'm scared that one day I'll realise that I've spent half my life playing games and the other half on forums talking about it... kind of... like what I'm doing nowwwww.

*gasp*

When you are running from a Tank and suddenly hear a woman crying.
When you're alone, in the dark, and you can hear a splicer laughing and grunting from different points around you.
When you hear a grenade thrown and none of your teammates are around you.
BSoD-ing in the middle of a game. Especially on PJ64, when Smash Bros causes my computer to crash.

In Prince of Persia, when you use all of your sands trying to recover from a fall which started that tiny amount of time before the length of your sand, thus you cannot rewind to a safe place, drove me mad!

Running out of ammo on a survival game and being forced to run or melee my way out.

Selling or using something (item/weapon) I will probably want/need more later in the game.

My game install not working properly and having to fix it myself.

The save corrupting.

Alma...but that's a love/hate relationship I suppose.
to be honest, i dont realy know why everybody made such a big deal out of her, i played ninja gaiden at a mate, and got her down after the second try. (one of the most awsome bossfights ive ever had in a game, but still, not so insanely hard as some people keep yelling)

on topic: battlefield 2142, running around a corner, just seeing the claymore, thinking *OOOOOOH SHIT*, and then BOOM.
Also the sound that regenerators make in RE4, you hear it JUST when you fired your last rife round.
I don't think your talking about the same Alma. I'm referring to the girl/young woman/old dead woman from F.E.A.R.
Ah, im talking about the Alma from ninja gaiden, alot of people got nightmares about her :p

That the majority of moronic thickos that make up the gaming audience keep cheering and producing their wallets everytime a core feature of a game is taken out and released as downloadable content on Xbox live ("Did you see you can get multiplayer for Resi5? Thats genius, I'm going to buy that, right after I've saved up for the downpayment on my bi-monthly mallet to the head-its half price this week-BARGAIN!"). I fully expect to have to buy my ammo before every multiplayer match before the years up. Most of the idiots out there will probably go on about what a great bunch of guys Bungie are for pioneering the 'two rockets for the price of one' weekend. Tits.
