Monsters vs. Aliens get my award though. Say it in IMax, but some little kid kept kicking my seat throughout the entirety of the film. Got very annoying very fast.
I was also in IMax when a kid started kicking my chair.

This was years ago.

I used to be very strong and very violent.

I sprained his ankle with my hand.

Other than that, I've always had very good experiences in theatres.

Wow, Suiseiseki IRL I think you may take the cake. Worst for me was I go into a movie I really had been looking forward to and had managed to avoid any spoilers for. When I get to the theater, right as the movie is starting this guy stands up and yelled out the ending. He was promptly grabbed by 2 guys, dragged out behind the theater, and dumped into the dumpster in the back much to the applause of the group that went to witness this.
So, what was the movie?
Somehow, i thought so.

I went to check out the second Matrix film when it debuted in cinemas with a few of my friends. We had an awkward show time, so the theatre was half empty. Two rows behind us was another group of people, 17-18 by my reckoning who thought it'd be funny to lob popcorn at us for the entire film.

Seriously, trailers to credits the popcorn just kept coming. I really wanted to see the film so I didn't stand up or anything, but it certainly didn't help matters.

I tripped up one of them on the way out and made my escape into the throng of people before they could see who had done it. Bastards don't ruin my film experience without retribution.

As for your case Suiseiseki, I woulda grabbed her phone and tossed it across the cinema. Would've probably got cheers from any on lookers as well. People who have their phones on during a film are the worst kind of scum.
as the preacher said on firefly. '' there is a level of hell reserved for child molesters, and people who talk at the theatre...... the special hell.''

Went and saw Transformers RoTF. Well, I decided that I didn't wanna fight for a spot in the theater, since it actually was kinda full, so I sat on the ground floor. You see, at my theater, there's the row of seats that are level with the ramp you come in on [AKA: Ground floor], some seats closer yet to the screen and infront of ground, and the usual seats behind and up.

Throughout the entire movie, the same damn family kept walking along the ground row. Well, after scrunching my legs up to myself for the 12th [literally!] time for the same kid, I stretched out my legs. Ironically, this happened at the exact same time that the kid took a face dive to the floor infront of me. Coincidence? To top it off, however, after the kid takes a face-dive, he looks at me and goes "Hey!" in that kinda 'hushed' tone. My reply? "Shh! Some people are trying to watch the movie." What did I receive after that? A fucking baby at the last real battle of the movie.

What is the worst experience you've ever had while at the movies?

This question crossed my mind after what happened happened to me not more than two hours ago.

Michel and I were out watching the new Adam Sandler movie Funny People. Throughout the whole movie another couple behind costantly chatting really loud and making wise cracks. Having asked them to stop multiple times and threatening call over the usher, they still continued. The suddenly I start hear the girl's phone go off followed shortly by dialing. I turn around And I see her texting with the keypad noise set on high. Then both me and Michel ask her to turn it off or we would call the usher.

The boy then decides to take the lid off his soda and dump it on my head after we had turned around. Before I knew it Michel had turned around, climbed over the seat, and had grabbed the guy by the shirt. He then threw him over the chair he had been sitting, hopped back over and started pummeling the guy. The fight then dragged on into the stairway where the two took turns exchanging blows. At one point the guy grabbed some old man's cane and smacked Michel across the face a few times with it. After the fourth hit the cane breaks and sent Michel tumbling down the steps. The man chased him down and pinned him against the wall and goves him a few hits to the face. Michel was able to then wrest free from his position and kick him to the floor and took the moment to stomp on his nuts. Once the guy had turned on his side and statrted throwing up, Michel pulled him up by his shirt collar and gave him the finishing blow.

All four of us ended up getting thrown out of the theater for it.

Although I am a devout pacifist and do not believe that violence is always the solution, I do believe that asshole got what he had coming to him.
Jesus Christ. I've never had anything that bad, ever. Kids repeating a few lines is the worst it's ever got for me.

I've never really had a terrible movie experience, since my theater is never crowded and I go at the most random times. I love my fucked up sleep patterns. The only bad part is forgetting something in the theater and having to get the night janitor to unlock the door at 1:30 in the morning.

I was watching that too, the guy behind me was accusing me of pulling out my phone. He got the usher on me. I had no phone on me at the time because I left it in my car. We went back into the theater and he accused me again of hiding my phone the first time because he claimed he saw the little blue light again. So we get pulled out again, and to prove that I don't have the phone on I get down to my boxers and let them check my clothes and I even drag them out to my car to point at the phone I left inside and had them check the seats around me for any phones. After that was done with I wasn't watching the movie so much as I was imagining beating that guy across the face.
I'd complain about the other guy. Or DEMAND Free films & compensation.

Yeah, though out the enitre time I watched The Dark Knight, everyone kept lauging, I was like: WTF?! Ice Age 3 was probably the most disturbing mviegoing experience. The disturbing bit was the fact that everyone was laughing at every single second during the film. When the film had finished, I had lost, completely, all faith in humanity.

The town I live only has a volunteer-run outdoor cinema, right? Well, one time after a movie finished, I got up and walked towards the gate. On the way, I stepped in what I thought was a puddle. Turns out some guy'd puked on the ground and I'd trodden in it. I managed to wipe it off on some grass, and I was wearing my scungy shoes, so it was all ok, but ew. I STEPPED IN PUKE.

On the last day of school, me and my friends always go see a movie(Red Cliff, in this case). We were all alone when the second the movie started, the complete class of antisocial assholes comes into the theatre. They didn't like the movie, so they proceeded to throw everything(popcorn, soda cans/bottles) through the room. Then, one guy wanted to show off his new extremely noisy ringtone. We threw all our soda bottles at him. It shut him up, but they kept on talking.

I was watching the second LOTR movie with my sister, and in front of us, these two chicks were flashing a laser at the screen with one of the caps on it that said 'Love', they would move it to each characters eye and on the dark parts, would wave it all over the screen. They were asked to stop several times, and (they in response) threatened to cause a big noise if it was taken off them.

It pissed me off to no end.

Other than that, nothing too bad.

I tried to be polite when handling a kid who kept kicking my chair, and all I got for it was grief from his idiot parents. Which just shows you morons beget morons. I stopped going to the theaters some time ago. I just can't stand to see how society is devolving into it's Idiocracy persona at a rapid rate.
