Seriously? I thought the movie was good, it is meant to be funny you realise(not trying to patronise)?
In my oppinion it failed. I wouldn't even consider it a spectacular failing, it was just a fail. I have never fallen asleep at the cinema but that film acyually made me want to fall asleep. You must have a better sense of humour thatn I do.

When I went with my younger sisters and my mom to see a childs movie (Can't remember the name of the movie but it was more or less the movie jumanjie set in space)
For the whole movie my mom kept screaming whenever anything unexpected happened which was all the time and talked to us whenever that happened >.< . Still was funny as hell watching her scream at a child movie. :D

What is the worst experience you've ever had while at the movies?

This question crossed my mind after what happened happened to me not more than two hours ago.

Michel and I were out watching the new Adam Sandler movie Funny People. Throughout the whole movie another couple behind costantly chatting really loud and making wise cracks. Having asked them to stop multiple times and threatening call over the usher, they still continued. The suddenly I start hear the girl's phone go off followed shortly by dialing. I turn around And I see her texting with the keypad noise set on high. Then both me and Michel ask her to turn it off or we would call the usher.

The boy then decides to take the lid off his soda and dump it on my head after we had turned around. Before I knew it Michel had turned around, climbed over the seat, and had grabbed the guy by the shirt. He then threw him over the chair he had been sitting, hopped back over and started pummeling the guy. The fight then dragged on into the stairway where the two took turns exchanging blows. At one point the guy grabbed some old man's cane and smacked Michel across the face a few times with it. After the fourth hit the cane breaks and sent Michel tumbling down the steps. The man chased him down and pinned him against the wall and goves him a few hits to the face. Michel was able to then wrest free from his position and kick him to the floor and took the moment to stomp on his nuts. Once the guy had turned on his side and statrted throwing up, Michel pulled him up by his shirt collar and gave him the finishing blow.

All four of us ended up getting thrown out of the theater for it.

Although I am a devout pacifist and do not believe that violence is always the solution, I do believe that asshole got what he had coming to him.
Sorry to hear that, that is way worster than my bad movie experience. o_o

Well, I've never had that bad apart from a friend who talks alot during all the films that we go see together(you know who you are!). The worst I've had was when i was saw Red Cliff with this friend and the guy in the row in front complained about us eating too loudly. We tried to eat much quieter after that, but he still complained. What was really annoying was that this guy seemed to get annoyed with evey little thing, like when someone sneezed and he turned his head sharply to glare at them for a few moments. When my friend put his feet up in the seats in front of us the guy swore at him and threatened him despite it being impossible for this person to see my friend's feet unless he was looking at them instead of the film.
My friend then complained to the staff and the man was never complained again, though he still glared at every sneeze and cough.

I've never had anything as bad as a full brawl in a movie theater, but I do remember watching a movie where there was a young child who would not shut up the whole movie. (It was a kid's movie, but I can't remember which)
There was also a teenage couple (Both wearing so much black it was creepy) who every 10 minutes or so would throw popcorn at my head.

Screw movie theaters and Thank God for Blockbuster.

Me and my friends went to go see the new wolverine movie. Through out the entire movie there was a baby who kept crying. I'm siting there and wondering "Who brings a baby to an action movie about a guy who kills people."

That's the funniest thing I've read in awhile. Suprised that happened in the USA though, seems like the type of thing you only get in the UK.

Also, most devout pacifists believe violence is never the solution, not that it isn't always the solution. Still, fair play.

OT: The time when I was like 10 and went to this little cinema with my mate and I threw up.

Have you ever watched the 1983 movie "Deathstalker"? I have. Have you ever sat through the 2000 version of "Dungeons and Dragons"? How about "Spiderman Three"?

I have. The first is a poorly done fantasy in which we have a main character (The titular Deathstalker) who has about three rape scenes (I.e, he does so), a villain who's most evil deed is, as far as I care, turning a man into a woman (Who then is raped by Deathstalker), and kidnapping large hordes of women and barely clothing them/making them wear see-through clothes, and bad... Oh, everything, from poor lighting choices to scripts, and a guy who looks like Mark Hamill having his neck broken after making a half-arsed attempt at killing Deathstalker.

The second is a dreary attempt at converting D&D into a film, which left me screaming at the screen because there were so many blatant faults which anyone who has played D&D can happily pick up on... Immediately. Also, a sidekick called Snails. He is black, and is a walking stereotype thereof. He dies, thankfully.

The last is a decent enough film for the first... Twenty mins or so, then we get at least over two hours of Peter Parker strutting around like a (Suitably harsh insult) being what we are told is apparently "Cool", and will guarantee that you cannot move more than ten foot without being glomphed by a horde of generic women.

I doubt much matches up to that... Well, except having the knowledge that I paid to see all of those. Special Mention to Meet The Spartans, cut out because it had ten hilarious seconds (The GTA parody).

I went and saw 'Valkyrie'.
That was it.

Okay okay seriously when I saw Valkyrie there were annoying teens behind me without a grain of maturity to their name who would never shut the fuck up. They talked loudly and not even about the movie, about random shite that made no sense. However they did get bored because they had obviously been hoping to see stuff blow up a lot not drama and at one point in a hand shake they yelled:
"Awww GAY!"
They wouldn't shut up but finally they got bored enough to leave but I'm serious they were playing around in the back row and never ever stopped talking.

The Spirit was great! Toilets are ALWAYS funny!
I loved the bit with the guy who stole the handbag, I'm also hoping to god that your post wasn't sarcastic.
No, I genuinely thought it was a fantastic movie. Huevos and Rancheros were cool ^^.

Okay... so me and my parents were watching... some movie. It was like 3 years ago, but I still remember what happened. I was on the aisle seat, then all of the sudden I hear someone throw up. I glanced over at where the sound was, as did everyone else. This girl had thrown up on her boyfriend. The guy then just stands up, and without a word, walks out of the theater. She starts to follow him, but then sits down and throws up on the floor again. Everyone in the entire theater was either laughing or groaning at her by now. Me and my parents are the only ones who weren't. She then stood up and, holding her mouth, made a break for the door up my aisle. She glanced at me while running, and I asked "Are you okay?". For some reason THAT got her crying and ran out of the theater.

I've never seen a fight in a theater... and I'm not sure if I really would want to :/

I once got dragged to see Bridget Jones' Diary 2...that was a pretty awful experience.

Other than that I went to see Wall-e and the kid in front (about 8-9 years old) talked the entirety of the trailers so me and my girlfriend were like "he will shut up once the film comes on".

Did he hell he talked... "who is he?" "I like robots!" etc etc so people around them were getting pissed but no one would say anything. It was about 10-15 mins in, so I went "hey kid...please be quiet". He gave me some stupid face and his mum swung round,

Her "dont you DARE talk that way to my son!"
ME "what? He is talking through the film and pissing everyone off..."
Her "well what is it to you if he talks?"
Me "We cant hear the film over his constant talking"
Her "Its not MY problem"
(this is when I lost my cool)
Me "Its ENTIRELY your problem...your fucking child wont close his fucking mouth and as a result NO ONE can hear the film over his nonsense babbling...tell him to sit down and SHUT THE FUCK UP"

By now everyone has heard and is paying attention...she goes and gets a member of staff in a fury. He comes asks why I was intimidating and swearing at a child, some people around intervene stand up for me and they get asked to leave for being a nusance and disturbing our viewing.

When i went to the movies to see Lord of the Rings:The two towers.

Everyone except me were laughing they're asses of things that weren't even jokes. And when the occasional joke popped in,i was the only one laughing. That just goes to show that movies need an IQ-o-meter to see if certain people are smart enough the go see that movies that is on.
