Lisa followed him and took a seat on a free bed he led her to, she'd started to calm down but still scared about the smoke. She took the wet handkerchief away.
"Thank you," She sighed out, turning to him. Even though she didn't really want to be in the crowded clinic, he had probably saved her life. "Lisa Bailey, By the way."

She took another few fire extinguishers in her arms before leaving the building, a few soldiers ran past and dispersed them, giving orders to put them in the clinic. Her next move was to get to the armory for ammunition. It seemed the smoke was slightly thicker in that area, Christie approached with caution, ready to run if there was any danger.

"Why you're welcom- wait Bailey? Oh hey! You're probably related to the Lieutenant Colonel! Hell you even kinda look like her. How could I have not seen it? Hah, anyways no problem. It's my duty to do this," Jacobs said to her as Dr. Westin came over.
"Hello dear. I'm going to check your lungs. Breathe in and out when I say," she said, with Lisa following what she was told. "You do have a bit of debris in your lungs from the smoke, but nothing too bad yet. I'll give you some oxygen and you should be fine. If anything happens you just come to me."
"Hey, Doctor Westin how many people are here now? Sure seems like a lot," Jacobs asked.
"Oh at least a hundred or more I would say. Sadly we've had a few deaths, but everyone here now should make a full recovery."
"That's good. Hey, where is Alan? I wanted to have a chat with him. I thought he had to stay next to you at all times?"
"What? Well I had orders from a Lieutenant Fletcher that he was to be moved."
"Really? Kaufman said to not move him unless he himself gave the orders."
"....Aw fuck! Oh no the General will be so angry with me! How could I have been so foolish!??"

She cringed at being told she resembled her sister, while she took in the oxygen, starting to feel slightly better. Lisa perked up when she heard the mention of Alan but she soon came near shock when she heard who had taken him.
Fletcher? Jack...? Where did he take him?!
Just as Jacobs began to freak out, she spoke up, deciding about how much she'd want to give away.
"Excuse me. I'm sorry, but Lieutenant Fletcher?"

The armory was quiet when she'd entered grabbing armfuls of assorted ammunition. She took a deep breath of barely smoke infested air before going back outside. She took to running quickly to get out of the smoke, half from fear for her health, the other for fear that the creature wasn't far away.
I'll take this to the clinic and come back for more.

"Yes, Police Lieutenant Fletcher. He said he had orders from abov-" Dr. Westin said, before Jacobs hushed them up.
"Everybody just calm down. Calm down! Alright. Shit I saw a police cruiser drive by me! So, wait. So this guy came in and stole our prisoner, the one who we've been trying to get, the one that is really important to that plan?"
"Yes."
"We're fucked. Crap, we'll have to tell the General!" Jacobs yelled, starting to get really worried.
"Wouldn't it make more sense to...wait until the monster is defeated then tell him?" Dr. Westin asked.
"Yes, yes! You're right. Okay, breathe. Idea time now. Um.... Lisa, you seem to have heard of this guy right? What do you know?"

Lisa bit her lip while she considered what she'd do. She took a deep inhalation of oxygen while she thought.
"He's not in the police. He's a civilian...Not too long ago he was leading our group of civilians...We split up though. I hadn't seen him for...two days now? He went off on his plans, while we tried to find somewhere safe." She replied with a calm tone.
I'm sorry Jack. But I did give you a chance before. I'm might not tell them everything, but i know where my loyalties lie now.

"Of fuck! Fuck!" Jacobs yelled as he started to freak out. "Oh shit. We have to get him back! But it's been an hour or so since I saw the cruiser! They could be anywhere now! Oh my god we're screwed! The General will kill us!"
"NO he won't. Just calm down Cameron. Look, we'll have to tell Kaufman. But we should wait. Perhaps you can drive out and try to find him? I'll cover for you. You should probably get a few other people though too, this guy seems like a big problem," Dr. Westin said, telling everyone to get back to work.
"Right, right. Holy crap. Alright I can do this! I just need to get some people to join me. What's this guy like Lisa? I haven't met him before," Jacobs asked worriedly.

"He's very intelligent. He saved us more than once from badly infected from his plans. He's got an extensive knowledge on science. He can fire a weapon well too. Head-strong, stubborn but he knows where he should trust." Lisa replied, sitting up slightly and putting the oxygen aside before thanking Dr.Westin.

"Dammit, this guy seems tough. He works alone though, right?" Jacobs asked before standing up, "I'm going to get a team together to find him and Alan. If you have any other useful knowledge it'd be much appreciated by us."

"Well, he was working with someone, but I don't think they're together now. There was a situation. Would you consider letting me come along? Or is that against the rules? If it helps, I can fire a gun pretty well and I'm technically a field medic.." Lisa asked.
If i go along, while they apprehend Jack, i can take Alan. It's risky beyond belief, but it's the best i've got.

Christie walked in, placing the ammunition with the rest of the supplies. She caught sight of Jacobs at a corner bed with Dr. Westin and went to ask him about any further orders. She met the eyes of the girl sitting on the bed and they stared at one another for a moment. Not sure which way that it was going to go.

"Oh that's great then. I'm pretty sure all the other medics are busy here," Jacobs said quickly with his mind jumping to the next idea, "Oh okay stay here while I go get a few people to come and help us. Oh, hello ma'am I was just going to go look for you to see if I can bring you along for this little mission that we have to do!" He noticed the look on each other's faces and grew silent, not wanting to cut the tension.

A few moments passed while they tried to read one another, both failing in the process.

"Mission Jacobs? Might I ask what this mission entails? Oh, and I see you've met my younger sister. What exactly is she doing here, by the way? I didn't even know she was here. But never mind that, are you unwell?" Christie said with a sudden sickly-sweet tone, moving her hand to Lisa's forehead in a mock attempt to check her temperature.

Grabbing the hand and moving it away, Lisa shook her head firmly.
I don't think I'm going to like where this is going to go...

"Ummm," Jacobs started, somewhat confused but becoming serious about the mission, "Right well. Seemingly someone named Fletcher was impersonating an officer...or more of made up one or something. Anyways he took Alan in a police cruiser and left about an hour ago. So, now I'm going to try and get him back and was wondering if you'd help. And your sister too. And probably Corporal Dewey. This needs to be kept on the down-low, mainly because I don't want the General to kill us all."

Her eyes lit up at the mention of Fletcher. She turned to face Jacobs.
"Alright, count me in. Do we have any ideas on where he went? Is the police cruiser tagged in any way? and what form of transport do you have in mind?" She asked seriously, ready for action.

Lisa kept her hands in her pocket, holding the tracker in her palm. There was no way she was sharing that.

Christie suddenly picked up on something that he had said,
"Wait, she's coming too? Do you really think that's appropriate, considering that she's a civilian?" She questioned him, gesturing to Lisa as she spoke.

"Well, she knows the guy and she said she's a field medic," Jacobs said nervously, "I was thinking we could take a jeep. I know he was heading to the highway, probably to head east since there isn't anything any other way for awhile. I didn't hear anything about the police cruiser, we probably only checked it's license plate.

I'm going to go get Dewey. I'll be right back then we can go," Jacobs said, leaving the two alone as he went to find the Corporal.

Jack arrived at the biotechnology lab and hurriedly got Alan into the administrative office before laying him on the desk and getting out the note. He held it up to the doubly handcuffed Alan and woke him up.

"There you're out, now decode the note so I can put you back in the fucking school or wherever. Hell I only need a translation, I'll even leave you the fucking note itself. I don't want to work with you anymore than you want to work with me so the sooner this gets done, the sooner we never have to see each other again."

"Are you fucking kidding me? What are you doing here?" Christie asked scornfully after Jacobs left.
"What would I know, I'm just a civilian."
"Tell me what you're doing here. Or I'll have to explain to Jacobs that you cannot make it because you ran into my knife. Multiple times."
"Threaten me all you want. I honestly don't care what you say." Lisa returned fire, standing now.
"You have a terrible habit of showing up where you aren't needed nor wanted. I've got my goddamn eye on you Lisa and don't you forget it."
Lisa gave a short laugh.
"I'm shaking."
Now angered, Christie grabbed her sister's shoulders.
"Watch your mouth. If you're going along with us, I'm your commanding officer. I don't know what your aim is for the minute but until you're out of my sight, you're part of my platoon. If you act up, i'll shoot you. Dishonorable discharge, we'll call it."

She tried to shake the grip, glaring at her.
You're insane Christie.

"Alright so Dewey went to go and get the jee- Am I interrupting something?" Jacobs asked, walking up to the two and looking at them both.

Alan groaned, still a bit dizzy from the sedative. He took a few minutes before looking at the piece of paper. He gasped, exclaiming "Amazing! Seemingly pi is actually equal to three! Who would have guessed. Aunt Julia is a genius."

"Why in the fuck do you prolong this? You hate me and I hate you, translate the note and you never have to see me again. Is it really that hard for a genius to get?" Jack asked exasperated. He got an idea, he placed the computer monitor in front of Alan so he would be forced to watch it.

"Translate the note or I won't be as relatively kind as I am trying to be."

"Maybe if you'd un-cuff me, get me a nice steak with some mashed potatoes, and fuck off I might jut be more inclined to help you," Alan replied, looking at the screen before looking over at Jack, "This is kinda bright. If you unplug it the screen light won't shine as much. At least that's how mine works."

"Too bad Alan. You wouldn't cooperate to protect anyone other than yourself. I'm going to now show you what it means to be a Bixler. Just know that I control the amount of pain you feel as well." Jack held held Alan's eye open with his right hand as he played the videos of his aunt that he had formed into one single video. After starting them he held the line to the IV in his left hand, knowing it contained the painkillers and were the only thing stopping him from feeling immense pain.
