"Who do we tell?" Adries asked.
"Not JD, probably not the new guy. Not Christie, that's for sure. Uncle Al we can tell, not sure about the military guys," Alan replied back.
"Alright. So, do you have a place in mind?" Adries asked again.
"A bit. Not going to any big labs simply because if word gets out they'll be the most obvious ones we'd head to," Alan told her.

"Of course,...So, we'll leave while everyone is asleep?" Lisa asked quickly glancing out of the window. The sun was setting and the sky was a burnt orange shade at this point, It wouldn't be long before dark.

"Getting past the group is the easy part. Getting by any zombies and stuff is going to be much harder. I have a feeling we're being watch by Jack's little zombie friends," Alan explained.
"So that's why you've been staying in here so much," Adries said, "Paranoia and all that."
"Yeah, a bit," Alan replied.

"There's no doubt he is...but if we keep to the woods, bring ammo, keep quiet. We'll try to get by. If we don't...well, let's not think about that." Lisa half-smiled, thinking things over.

"Sounds good. I'll have to figure out what I need to bring," Alan said looking at his equipment and starting to go threw it.
"Have fun. I'm going to go eat some crappy food and either ***** at people or remark to everything sarcastically," Adries replied back as she exited the vehicle.

She walked over to Jacobs and Dewey, watching them start a fire. "It took me only a few minutes," she told them.
"Yeah, well...you had matches right?" Jacobs asked.
"Noooooo..." Adries lied, "I did it the old fashioned way. By rubbing crap together!"

She chuckling at Adries, watching her blatantly lie to the soldiers.
Lisa turned to Alan.
"Need any help with anything? I'm going to eat later on, I think."

"I'm pretty good. Just trying to think about the essentials that I need to bring. I also have a back-up plan just in case Jack does indeed find out what we're doing," Alan told her, putting aside a few things, "I'm kinda surprised he hasn't really gone after us, ya know? If I were him I would have gotten rid of all of us...just the idea that he's out there and knowing that we can't really do anything to stop him if he wanted to kill us makes me uneasy."

Guilt struck Lisa again, she had to tell him about the deal soon, maybe not the whole of it, but just some of it at least. She looked down to her feet and then looked up again.
"Alan. Can I ask you something...?"

"Um..." Lisa started, searching for the words.
She stalled for a few more moments before continuing.
"What would...would you want something to eat?" She smiled, finally failing and giving up with a hint of exasperation.

Meanwhile...

JD was stuck. He didn't know if he should join Jack's zombie kingdom, or stay with the humans. He never liked choosing sides. What makes it even worse for him is the fact the he's a hybrid Special, with powers still developing. He'll be a burden for both sides. He put his head into his hands, unsure of what to do.

"Lord, give me strength." He whispered quietly.

"Ummm, no thanks. I'm not particularly hungry at the moment, especially not for MRE's," Alan groaned, trying not to think about it. He looked over at Lisa, noticing how she was acting, "Was that really what you wanted to say? Or is there something else? I'm fine if it's something you don't want to tell me," he said.

Lisa blinked a few times, considering, she simply didn't know how to put it. She'd tell him when they were on their way to the lab or when they were there. Best not to worry him.
Eventually she shot a soft smile,
"It's nothing. Don't worry. Also we have some food on the train. Y'know the edible kind?"

"Alright then. I might head out there to eat in a bit. I'd prefer to have everything set before eating though. So maybe in thirty minutes or so," Alan told her, "But if you're hungry now don't wait up for me. I'll just force Adries to take me."

"I'll wait around. I don't really have much of an appetite, that's if you don't mind?" She asked, swinging her legs a little.

Christie wandered out of the station. The boredom was mind-numbing. She'd seen the APC return but took little notice, not interested in the tirade they'd been on any more.
She went to the MRE stockpile and took another 'HOOAH!' bar. She looked up and saw JD, taking a step back and drawing her gun by instinct.

"No problem. I enjoy company, though I never really show it," Alan said as he continued to pack up everything he need. "So, this computer right here," he started, taping the red and black laptop, "Is our secret little escape in case Jack ever decides to come after us. Was easy to come up with, but executing it was a very delicate process. I even had to ask Jacobs for some help here and there."

"Woah, calm down Christie. It's just JD," Jacobs said, making some MRE's for everyone to eat.
"Yeah, it's just the second new guy in the group," Adries said, grimacing at the food that was being cooked.

JD looks up to see the girl pointing the gun at him

"OH! SHIT! FUCK!" He says, being taken by surprise and falling out of his chair.

"Is there a problem officer?" He asks her, standing up slowly, and putting his hands in the air.

The black veins were now across his face. His right eye was slowly changing black.

"Oh? What does it do?" Lisa asked, looking at the laptop curiously.

Christie hesitated for a moment looking seriously, before smirking and lowering her gun.
"You've changed substantially since my nap..."

"It...blows up!" Alan said excitedly, waiting for a few compliments but frowning when he didn't get the reaction he wanted. "I mean, that's not all it does. The explosion will be a fairly good size, but the real kicker is a few chemicals that I was able to mix in there. Let's say any infected in the vicinity will be in a for a nice surprise. It'll give us more than enough time to escape if need be."

"Well it was a long nap," Adries replied, getting some laughs from Jacobs and Dewey.

While laughing with the two soldiers, JD puts his hands down.

"What do you mean?" he asked her.

Quickly he checked a mirror to see his right eye slowly changing. Quickly, he ran over to Lisa.

"Look at this!" He says, pointing at his eye.

"I guess this isn't a bruise after all, is it?" He asked her.
