Actually i see logic in this, i mean everyone will think everyone else will got to the mall and think up alternative hiding place. Unless it backfires and everyone in town ends up there.TheNamlessGuy said:Hide in the mall, like any sane person.
It's got a great alarm, about 20 stories above earth and 5 below.
And there's a police house not far from there, so free guns.
Really, no one but gamers? You certainly have an abnormally high opinion of yourself and your fellows. I'm a gamer too, half of my gaming friends are so heavily set they'd have a heart attack just trying to make it to the mall, I happen to work out every day and I wouldn't do all that well either because I'm a neurotic mess most of the time. And you know what, the rednecky guy I saw at Wal-Mart would probably do a lot better than me, even though he's never touched a game in his life, because he probably also has enough guns to supply a small army. Point being, don't think "being a gamer" will save your ass. Knowing answers to a hypothetical situation, and reacting to a real situation are two really different things.TheNamlessGuy said:I never said that it was exclusive to gamers.Kpt._Rob said:Yeah, the whole "let's hide in a mall" thing is not exclusive to gamers. Ever since George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead malls have been one of the most prominent settings for zombie films. Trust me, everyone who has owned a TV any time in the last 30 or so years probably knows that the mall is the place to go.
As for me, I would head for the local high school, because I'm fairly certain that if there are going to be any rescue teams, that's where they'd probably set up. And if there aren't going to be any rescue teams, I'm probably fucked anyways.
I'm saying the gamers are the only ones who wouldn't run around screaming before they get killed.
Well, in my town it's rather centrally located, and because of the fears so many parents have nowadays that their children will be abducted and molested the school is actually set up in a way that would make it easily defensible. Point being, if I were saying to myself "hey, where should I set up base camp to help rescue people from the zombies," the high school here in this town would the place I'd pick.PoliceBox63 said:Why do you think so?Kpt._Rob said:...local high school...that's where they'd probably set up.
Ha! Is that your reply to me? Give me a break. If you look at the NUMBERS, (and I've actually read more than a couple books on what people believe, so I have) you'd find that as intelligence goes up, willingness to believe in supernatural or paranormal phenomena GOES DOWN. That is to say, smart people are statistically LESS LIKELY to be willing to accept the potentiality of a zombie attack, while Red Neck McGee will probably think it's step one of the end times, and be perfectly ready to fight off the zombies until Jesus shows up at his door to rapture him away.TheNamlessGuy said:Kpt._Rob said:Really, no one but gamers? They would die and I would gladly shoot their faces off.
Ok thn, but don't stand underneath the falling sun, oh and make sure to live next to someone called crazy Dave.Aldan9 said:Head over to the nearest police station, fill my shopping cart with ammo guns and enough pr0n. Go to a remote village, kill the infected there, grow my own food, and wait out(unless I train the plants to attack zombies).
