Zombies: Are they real or am I losing my mind?

where do you live? I've been stocking up for a few years now...my armory grows and my supplies should last me a couple of months before I die in the winter.

Off handed creepiness aside, I live in Chicago. Which would be HORRIBLE if they were actually zombies...
Anyway, I suppose it was mostly me over analyzing things, but isn't that how the zombie movies start?

Chicago is a main quarintine site for THe Passage... sooooo stock up your ammo and kill some zombies before they become skelletons

While zombies are a surprisingly possible threat (as far as horror movie monsters go), I doubt you saw real zombies. Honestly, if/when it happens, I'm imagining running zombies, which means we're all screwed.

OT: I suspect it's over-reaction. I work on the principle that I can't prepare for all apocalyptic scenarios, so I've become good at planning on the fly. If this is the start of the zombie horde, I'll make it up as I go along.

You know, I heard a while back that a woman saw some people in her back yard and tapped on the window with a knife, to scare them off. When the police heard this they told she shouldn't have done that because they could arrest her for it. Is that possible? Or was I just hearing paranoid ranting?

Thats not exactly true - you may without some papers not be allowed to buy GUNS, but nothing is stopping you from becoming creative with all the things avalable that are not guns. Hmm, sounds like europe would be the most interesting scene - though, nothing really beats shotguns.
