As a British student, the American (and to a certain extent scottish) systems confuse me a little, although I wish I had the options to do more than my BA modules. By far and away it would have to be Arcanum: of steamworks and magick obscura. One of the most underrated games ever, and with one of the best soudtracks ever, which have real musical value outside of the game, which is rare. And I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.

But no longer do they have the best marksmen in the world. That goes to Her Royal Majesty's British Army: thats 3 hits (2 gunners, one shot to disable the gun) more than a mile away. *proud Englishman moment*

It would be fair to say that I don't hate anyone, but I do feel rivalries but if push came to shove I'd rather be shoulder to shoulder with a scot, welshman or frenchman than having to fight them (and not just because I'm weedy). Am I a defective renegade?

the first *bad* game I played (as in owned, and had the full copy) was probably ecks vs sever on the GBA. Controversially, I never liked half life. And I liked (and still like) Enter the Matrix (the game encourages you to cheat. And has live action cutscenes!). But maybe I'm just weird.

It's game Dependant for me. In games like Just Cause I turn them off, because a)the voice overs affect game play in a very limited fashion and b)because it's easy to understand (its louder than the background noise). In games like assassins creed I turned them off on my first run through...

+1, the more people who camp, the more you have to play differently rather than just, as you say, run in guns blazing. After all, variety is the spice of life!

Camping in some respects is a respectable way to play a game, if you can find a good enough spot, and not be found surely you're playing well? I'm not a big fan of CoD, but where you have team based objectives camping is surely a valid way to help your team?

the Just cause demo is 30. But you can glitch it to look at the rest of the map, I suppose.

Just cause if value for money is anything to go by. If you don't mind creating you're own fun inbetween derpy missions (getting creative with a grappling hook and vehicular death) then its fantastic. Best sandbox game I've played for a while, tbh. That said I've never really liked splinter...
