I'm a Nord who uses heavy armor, shield and a hand axe. Why? Well it's super bad ass to run in and axe bandits in the neck. Also the time slowdown on the shield makes it easy to shield bash a power attack and completely shut down melee attackers.

Yea I know there are more now but you don't need them to get the platinum trophy, which is how achievements in multilayer should be.

I liked the Uncharted 2 system of multilayer achievements, you get one for playing competitively and another for playing co op and that's all you have to do.

What I mean is the majority of people doing campaign missions there are lots of rangers and warriors and not a lot of anything else so finding a group will be a long process as opposed to a monk. Also no one needs sins on missions because there really isn't a use for a perma sin in a campaign...
