I've had mine for about a year and a half, fairly regular playing, except with I got DA:O and ran it for like 70 hours straight, hasn't broken once and honestly with the service Microsoft gives if it DOES break kind of covers it, IMO anyways ^_^
One of the recent RPGs I've played is Dragon Age: Origins, personally that had an unbelievably awesome story, I loved each personal quest, the story line itself was, in my opinion, incredibly enthralling and immersive.
Lol I've quit twice, first time was a few months before BC was out, because no one wanted to raid and I was never into PvP, Second time was like October '09 due to disliking patch 3.2

Lol if you listen to the story-line for that character you'll see she wasn't a true "Sister", but hiding from her past Bard-master who has been trying to kill her, so that all ties in quite nicely with the actual story :P.
