My thoughts exactly. Wow, I had no clue there were so many MW2 fans out there. It's a shame we can't get a modern game like this. And for the popularity of battletech, I find it hard to believe so few forum members have ever heard of MechWarrior 2.

So long as the gameplay and story is as good as the original and it is complex like a PC game should be, I honestly couldn't care less who is making it and where.

I think your best bet is xfire in-game. Start a call when you want to talk to some specific person, end it when you're finished, simple as that. I can't see why it won't work so long as you establish it with everyone initially.
