Where are you?
From what I understand a doctor has to see you (especially in emergency) and if they don't you can sue for malpractice. From my own 2 emerg. visits (one for me, one for baby) to childbirth to just plain old family doctors I can't complain.
I was thinking of my own experiences in on-line communities, and how we move on from one community to the next. Or not.
Basically, I was wondering if you have ever left an on-line community that you were a significant part of. Could be a gaming clan, or a community like The Escapist.

So... about a year ago (actually a year and ...3 weeks ago) I left my on-line community. I was pretty involved with them. Very involved actually: I wrote for the front page, was a Mod, clan leader... etc.
Anyway: I left that community abruptly. Well... not true. I was thinking of leaving for...

buddy of mine was new to the city. She joined a readers circle (ummm... an SF/Fantasy book club: that's whereI met her) AND she took a cake decorating course.

So: that's the only "trick" I have. Join something you enjoy...

Treat people like people. Someone mentioned it: if you want to hold doors etc, that is great. Do so, but do it because it makes you feel good about you.
I hold open doors etc for the person behind me. Whoever they are. Kindness to...
I would talk with a councellor at university. I think you could use someone professional to talk to. Nothing wrong with it at all and you will feel much better. They will be able to offer you better advice than anyone here can offer.
Good luck.
