Let's see now.

1-Paul Hogan

2-Hugh Jackman

3-Sam Worthington

All Australian, all awesome. And unfortunately there are more than three members of AC/DC so someone would've felt left out.
Strangely enough, Angus and Malcolm are Scottish, Bon was too, Brian is English, and so is Cliff. Phil is the only one originally from Australia.
Oh yeah I knew most of them reigned from Britain but when you think about it they got their start in Australia, Australia loves them to this day and they normally sang with Australian accents. Hell my dad remembers seeing them at one of their first performances at a little community hall.

canada:
Sir Stanford Fleming: created time zones.

Tommy Douglas: voted the greatest canadian ever, created socialized healthcare. (at least in canada, don't know if it was the first in the world).

Stompin' Tom Connors: canadian patriotic folk musician. to quote a book i read once, "he kind of sings, and he kind of stomps his foot, in Canada, this makes him a folk hero."

I'm suprised that nobody from england has mentioned Patrick Stewart!

edit: how could I have forgotten William Shatner!

USA:
Nikola Tesla
Albert Einstein (Ours when he ditched Germany)
Benjamin Franklin

Werner von Braun Runner up

Cream of the crop in the US of A...

Edit: We Americans have a habit of stealing other Scientists...
I was going to say that. None of those are actually American; Einstein was German, Tesla was Croat, von Braun was also German, Ben Franklin was English.
I think you can let them have Ben Franklin, he did help found the country after all.
After he was born and raised on our edumacation system... amazingly enough, the Americans didn't found White America. The British did...

It's not Citizenship it's nationality. If they where born in USA that's a USA contribution. If einstein was born in germany then it is germany contributing to america and in turn the world. Not USA contributing to the world sorry. America can NOT take credit for these people.

Really stop stealing other peoples genii and focus on your own achievements.

After all you brought us julie london and well... condensed milk (jeremy clarkson joke).

Really there are enough good americans for you guys to stop stealing european born contributors.

They may be US citizens but they are not from the USA, if it wasn't for the country they were born in they would not of been there, you can't take credit. It's not like USA haven't invented a lot of things so you have to steal credit from other countrys(not that the country's should get the credit but this is what the threads about I guess)
