"Steak And Shake"? What IS that? A restaurant where they blend steak and give it to you in a mug?
Was that sarcasm? It's pretty much a restaurant who sells "Steakburgers" and milkshakes....
Awesome place...

The Beckhams have aweful naming ideas every time Victoria and David have kids... Can't remember their names, but I can imagine the horrors for the poor things.

Did you get the name right? It's Megatron, not Megaton?

Anyway, I heard about this guy with the last name of Kane who named his three daughters "Sugar" "Kandy" and "Nova."

My Mum's friend's daughter is called Alessa. That really freaked me out. I refuse to get to know her.

It's not weird, just damned scary. She's got matted, curly black hair and she always wears this weird dress.

Freaky.
I... I think I'm scared. That doesn't happen too often.

I was recently introduced to a 24-year-old theology student at my university. His name is Lorgar. I was a bit unsettled by that...
Is this because of Silent Hill 1/3?
Yes, that's correct. I mean, the description fits Alessa from those games, and that's more than just a bit creepy...

I once met a man called Richard Cocks. I met him through work, he's a customer of the specsavers i used to work for.
Richard Cocks? Dick Cocks? You win.

I knew someone in jr. high named Caresse. I don't think I've ever pronounced her name right.

Knew a kid in NJROTC with the last name of Bates. Whenever he was put in charge of people he became Master Bates. Took him a while to catch on.

I remember the exact words and gestures of my teacher explaining that you can't name people just anything.

With that being said, my nephew is named after a figure in norse mythology. edit: (Or whatever you should call it. I prefer "asatro" but that's a swedish word.)
I think it's just cool though.

HOLY CRAP!!

This post make me laugh my ass off. It made me think of this girl from back when I was in school. Whenever she talked she was completely monotone, and my friends and I called her Megatron. She never got the reference.

No, I'm not kidding, either.
I've done worse than that. =p
*gasp* You're Swedish!? So am I!
Me too...

OT: I knew a girl named Yrsa... Apparently its the name of some heroin in some old Scandinavian legend that I have never heard of...
As for being Swedish, I am too.

I think Yrsa was one of the daughters of the giant Ymer in Norse mythology, but im not completely sure. Time to check it up on wikipedia!

EDIT: Nope, I was wrong! Apparently she was a tragic heroine of scandinavian legend. But that name sound really familiar, I could've sworn hearing something similar sounding being connected to the giants. Hmm...

Richard Head is a surprisingly common name, all considering.

I also heard of a man who's name was Richard Haszard. It's such a mighty surname, but then I found out one of his relatives on his father's side was once a Major in the military...

Major Haszard. Isn't that just the kind of awesome name a Bond villain would have?

Is she aware that her body is the vessel for an ancient, vengeful god who will lead us to paradise?

I actually love that name. Even before SH. Thought it was pretty.
