I'm fookin old. I don't really give much thought to age of posters though, if someone posts something I want to read I read it, if not I don't.

I'm 34. Been living on my own for numerous years. Divorced. Holding down a job that pays rather well. Paying for an incredibly sexy car. Yea....sadly, I'm all adult. :(

I do tend to fight it though. What with the booze and late night gamefests.

Also 34, have a house, many pets cos I hate kids and various other adult responsibilities.

I don't know as I would necessarily downplay an adult living at home, tho. Especially in this economy, it's becoming more and more standard for those in their 20s (and 30s) to move back in with their parents--the rent's lower, there's a sense of stability and security in a time where jobs/lives aren't so secure. University grads especially find it easier to get on their feet by living at home while finding/starting a career.

That being said, the 20-(or 30-) something person that is living at home playing video games all day long who puts out absolutely ZERO effort in finding a job is not an "adult", no matter how old you/they are.

ATTENTION "ADULTS"

Do I have your attention? Good.

Do you lot realise how many of you "adults" have flamed/laughed at Demented Teddy for claiming that we teenagers on here are maturer than the average teenager?
Do you think we'd still be here if we weren't? No, we'd be banned with the trolls and other idiots.

You mightn't have noticed, but when you read someone's post on these forums, you can't tell whether they are a teenager or an adult. And if we aren't mature, what does that say about the adults? You lot must be as immature as you claim WE are.

And believe me, you're showing it.

Delicious irony. Nice work.
Trying to tempt me to flame you? How mature. :p

At 19, I am legally and adult in the UK (home), but I still want to be the 16 year old, weird immature child I was. Is it sad, trying to preserve my youth and younger self, when I only lost it a few months/years ago?

Maturity is subjective :)

There's quite a lot of irony there. But don't worry, in a few days your thoughts will be perfectly valid.

I will be 15 in two days, and I'm not mature at all.
...
Wait... That's probably the most mature thing anybody has said on this topic so far...

I'm 21...though, people always tell me that I look 15 or 16. And mentally, I'm probably around 15

By legal requirements, I am an adult in Canada in nigh 30 days. (18)

In any case, I do find it find it somewhat amusing how many adult posters on here seem to think that maturity and teenagers are laughable? I've seen more adults than I have teenagers act like utter dicks sometimes, to be honest.
