Seto no Hanayome, Kammazuki no Miko probably. To Aru Majutsu no Index and Utawaremono as well, too lazy to translate them to their english names

Bible Black. Best. Anime. EVER.

Am I a bad person for laughing hysterically upon reading this comment?
I laughed hysterically too, it's cool.

Otherwise, I second (or third or whatever) the Hetalia suggestion, it's got some deep stuff (England and America bawwwww) but it's mostly just Italy being stupid, which sounds right up her alley. Princess Tutu is a pretty girly anime, too, that could work for her if she likes ballet and cute ducks all over the place.

I need some help.

I'm tring to get my sister to watch anime, but I have no Idea what kind of anime to show her. I know that she likes "One Tree Hill" and "Twilight", but thats about it. So you can see why I'm having so much trouble finding an anime. Most of the stuff I watch, she wouldn't even try (Trigun, Wolf's Rain, Baccano!). I don't really care what kind of anime it is, I only what to show her that anime can be for girls too.

If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
So I used to be a 16-year-old girl and my baby sister is right about that age; admittedly my introduction to anime was via Gundam Wing, but I might be able to help a little.

On the super-girly side of things, I'd suggest Fushigi Yuugi -- there's some saving the world stuff that happens, but a lot of it is the super melodramatic love polyhedra that infests Twilight like a plague of sparkly fleas.

If you want something you can stand to watch with her, Azumanga Daioh and Ouran Host Club are both excellent choices -- they're charming, funny, and less frothingly girly than you'd think. Studio Ghibli-wise flicks, I second Spirited Away; Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle are both good light-n-fluffy choices as well.

Don't do Hetalia. It's idiotic and I doubt a total anime newbie would find it particularly amusing.

One Tree Hill and Twilight huh? Ok, don't show her anything that actually involves thinking.

Yes, I'm kidding. I'm not about to go dissing someone I don't know just because they like something different. (Unless she obsesses over that insult to literature)

Seriously though?

Ayashi No Ceres, Chobits, Fruits Basket, Vampire Knight. Basically anything that can be called "shoujo" anime. Aka: Aimed at teenage girls.

I guess you can try Vampire Knight, from what I hear it's essentially Twilight in anime form.

...But then again, my sources are hardly reliable. Whatever, it has vampires in it, there's an exceptionally pretty male vampire that likes a female human, bing batta boom, whatever. She likes vampires, and it has vampires. I don't see what could go wrong.

As she likes twilight im guessing shes at the 'hormonal' stage and there fore i recomend.

urutsukodoji (though id let her watch that one alone), helsing, legend of mobius, vampire hunter D, perfect blue.

if shes more kiddy than adult try la'puta and sailor moon.

i would suggest Trinity Blood, Read or Die, Love Hina, or Ah my Goddess. all pretty good.

that and definately Tsubasa Chronicles and Xxxholicxxx. both are deep, have slight romances, good action.

or Chobits if she feels epecially girly. though i did watch and enjoy it.

I second the vote on Vampire hunter D, though a bit bloody still made of awesome sauce.

Inuyasha's chock full of the can't-have-but-want-but-alas stuff that twilight's been makin' big bucks out of. It's not half bad either.

Why not just leave her to watch One Tree Hill and Twilight? anime has enough fans it's not like it needs promoting more.

If she likes Twilight, show her School Days, its an anime about high school relationships and the ending will scar her for life :D
But if you're serious about anime, show her any Miyazaki movie
