I was waiting for this to show up in this topic.Dafttechno said:Finally, Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and its prequel, Baten Kaitos: Origins. Two of the very small selection of RPGs on the Gamecube. I picked up Baten Kaitos: EWLO on a whim one day and proceeded to spend the next 60 hours enraptured in the game.
Euhan01 said:Time splitters 2 definatly, 3 if its on Gamecube can't remember. Metroid Prime 1/2 are also brilliant.
Also SSBM and a few others here and there that I can't recall atm.Catchy Slogan said:The only ones I can think of of the top of my head have already been said:
Fire Emblem
Eternal Darkness
Also, asking if there are any good Gamcube games is like asking if fish live in water. ;P
In response to the Res 4 comment, the PC version was actually a shoddy port of the PS2 version, turns out it's actually inferior. The Wii version is hands down the best, just for the simple fact that you can have your head-shots lined up before you've finished raising your weapon!EllEzDee said:I can pull out my whole collection, but i can't really be arsed going upstairs because i'm lazy.
Off the top of my head, Resident Evil 4 is fucking amazing on the GC: much better than the PS2 port, but not as good as the PC version from what i hear.
The Day of Reckoning series (wrestling games) are fantastic aswell.
This. If you loved No Mercy on the N64 this is the closest you'll get on the GC, PS2 or Xbox. Although Smackdown Here Comes the Pain on the PS2 is quite solid. Probably the best roster of any Smackdown game and features coming out the wazoo.EllEzDee said:The Day of Reckoning series (wrestling games) are fantastic aswell.
Whatever.Alakaizer said:Thank you so very much for completely failing to properly read my opening paragraph. I wasn't saying I preferred the Gamecube over the PS2, I was saying I preferred it over the Nintendo 64. I loved the Gamecube AND the PS2. I mean, you do know we can like more than one now, right? Anyways, this thread is still not about consoles!!!!! It's just about what games to get for a system that you definitely own. And calling yourself or your opinion humble isn't humble.Treblaine said:-snip-

Truthfully I never played Twin Snakes, I just know I enjoyed original MGS on PS1 and since he was after good Gamecube games, I naturally assumed the port would be good.Treblaine said:*snip*
I don't 'pay' for any console exclusive on principle. If they are willing to cut out a percent of there audience. I'm a drop in the ocean. I have played it.Kyrian007 said:Ignore that, sour grapes there. MGS: Twin Snakes is the greatest game in the Metal Gear Series. So what if it was an exclusive? Didums have to get the GC just for this, awwwww. I would have. It's good enough to warrant a GC just for Twin Snakes.priestswearseatbelts said:Everything this guy said. Minus metal gear..... because console exclusives suck. Console exclusives that start multi-platform. Then become exclusive... then branch off into different stories, to bend the rules on the non exclusive platform... suck even more.blacon said:Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil (remake) are amazing. You can also get the other Resident Evil games.
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes - best game on the GameCube.
Wind Waker - Fantastic.
Mario Kart: Double Dash - Amaaazing.
