I don't care where they set it as long as it is as good as 2/Brotherhood and they fix the plot so that it comes to a conclusion that actually makes sense.

Seriously! It started as we are Assassins (good guys) they are Templars (bad guys) let's go stab their leaders. I like this idea! Then a magic apple materialises and screws you over Err... then you find the magic staff and speak to an Alien-God thing the hell? which speaks to future you Wait...What? then you re-find the magic apple which makes you stab your friend. Then it finshes.

If they ever fix this I'll be impressed

But they would be attitudes, architecture, culture, and definitely accents that are faaar removed from any of the American hegemonic makeup of the gaming today. It would be a different story from a different age, focusing on the Templars and the Assassin's struggle in a new time period, rather than a game made purely for Americans/
I still like the ninjas idea better.

I've been hoping beyond hope that it would be set in feudal Japan or ancient China, some really awesome asian setting. You'd be a ninja, the best assassins the world has ever had. You'd fight samurai and ninjas. Seriously, that would be my ideal AC3.

Really? I was thinking somewhere in the "13 Colonies-American Revolution" time frame. London would be pretty awesome. If they are thinking of putting it farther in time, it couldn't be more than 50 years before Desmond, or one of two things can happen. 1. The gameplay will fall apart because of these new fangled contraptions called "guns". or 2. The ignore the facts that guns were a big thing back then. I tried to imagine one in 1020's New York and while hiding in speakeasies and having a sock hop be a base for mercenaries seems like heaven, it would become more like a cross between inFamous [parkour, climbing aspects, almost superhero prowess] and GTA [big city, stealing cars which would be the equivalent of horses]. That seems better suited for a DLC. In fact, they could explore lots of options using DLC, without too much of an investment.

That makes no sense.
Yes, use one sentence as an excuse to ignore four posts without giving a reason why you think they make no sense.

They might think it's valid, but it is not.
Really now, all of these people have a problem with me because I think it's wrong to want to commit genocide. What the fuck is wrong with humanity?
I don't want to commit genocide, but if the majority of people thought it was ok, then I would just have to accept the fact that by popular vote it would be ok. You don't have to agree with something to accept that it is what the majority of people want. I certainly wouldn't tell people they're opinions are wrong, when they're just that. Opinions.
Grrr stop misquoting me I didn't say that. This thread has literally gone mental.

I want some flow to the game, not just jumping to America from Italy, maybe Spain, France or Britain, then from there go to America.
