Australia bans Second Life too

I know it's only Second Life, but this is nonetheless ridiculous. The people who got this banned are obviously incapable of considering the internet and gaming as anything other than a festering heap of gratuitous violence and sex.

It would certainly curb masturbation. That way the kids won't go blind and crazy. They'll just grow up to be sexually repressed and emotionally stunted.

Second Life was banned because the user can engage in sexual activities, which were which are added to the game through community objects. I think it's just a law of the internet: You give people tools, they're going to find ways to recreate their tools. Australia should ban XBox Live and all manner of online chat, because you can say and hear all manner of crude racial epithets involving your mother and a small equine.

That said, we all know what Second Life is really for.

The sad thing about this is that some people acually have a full buisness on Second Life, they have made a living off of it since all the money you have on the can can be transferd to real money, weather it be the Euro, U.S dollars, or Pounds. So even though you can engage in sexual activites you can also make a living off the game. Australia is really becoming a douche.

Oh okay... hopefully they give up on their "ban the internet" witch hunt. Nobody is going to pay the IP's won't the users won't and the government sure as hell won't pay for their stupid censor program.

no but seriously, it's very frustrating how no one understands that it's not Second Life who created the explicit content, but instead the users
