Can I say Sacrifice? Because I'm going to go with Sacrifice. Shiny went down since, I believe.

It's on Steam and GoG now, though, and cheap, so you have no excuse.
Thanks for this. I had never heard of the game but it looks like a lot of fun. Just bought it off Steam for $5.

I will go with Demon Stone. It wasn't perfect but it was fun and hard as hell at some points. And you got to be Drizzt.

Noone lives forever, 1 and 2! Some of the best games with the coolest weapons and best humour i have seen in a long time! And there are cheats so you can plow your way through the game with all the fun weapons!

Buy that game.

Do it.

It's set in the 70s.

The main character is a Scottish Spy fighting an evil organization full of idiots and russians.

Don't forget what H.A.R.M. stands for.

Anybody ever play Product Number 3 by Capcom on the Gamecube? I loved that game, one of the last games i completed to the perceived 100% completion before the invention of achievements. I miss high school :p

Impossible Creatures; an RTS that has a Starcraft flavour to it. You pretty much have an army of 9 unit which you create from scratch by combining 2 animals. You choose what body parts you use. Each body part gives stats and/or abilties. The campaign has you "capturing" genetic material by tranqshotting animals so it has a sort of Pokemon-sort of feel to it. It also tries to not overwhelm you. In the campaign you can freely edit your units mid-game. It's thourghouly enjoyable having entirely customizable units which you can set up to suit your play style. Gameplay outside of that is hollow however, but meh.
Fuck, this game was awesome. Any game where you can make shark-scorpions would be.

Also, Quest 64. It's like FFXIII in that it has a great battle system, but everything else sucks. Except this one has no story.

War for Cybertron didn't seem to sell all that well, even though they did greenlight a sequel for it based on the critical reception. Online multiplayer has fallen off a lot since it was released but it's still an excellent game.

Going back in time a little further, i'd have to say Deathrow on Xbox was my favorite game that nobody played. If it had released just about a year later when XBL started to take off and had online support I think it would have sold /much/ better than it did. Such an addictive sports game and very unique.

Edit: Forgot about Otogi and Otogi 2. As I recall neither game sold very well but they were gorgeous games with a fluid combat system.

Steel Battalion is also a favorite of mine, but it and its sequel were low sellers for obvious reasons.

Props to the guys who mentioned Psy-ops, Legend of Mana and Space Station Silicon Valley. All three of those are fantastic games. I'm gonna go with one a little more recent, however.

Madworld. This game deserves a lot more success than it got. The Sin City visual style was spot on for the over the top level of violence in this game. The voice cast was solid, and even though the gameplay was repetitive, the story and overall entertainment value of seeing how badly you can eviscerate your opponent made you want to keep playing.

James Bond Everything or Nothing
I think I still have Everything or Nothing. That game had awesome co-op but the multiplayer versus mode kind of sucked (If I remember right).
I used to spend hours playing co-op with my brother. That game was great.
I have never found anyone else who played Lego Rock Raiders. Still one of my favorite RTS games.

Pathways into Darkness. This was Bungie's first venture into the first person genre, and it ended up being a whole lot of fun. It combined FPS and RPG elements in 1993, back before developers decided for almost decade that you weren't supposed to do that sort of thing.

This is an odd moment for me. The most obscure game I can recall is Pokemon: The First Movie on the Game Boy but seeing as I've never played it and don't think it was worth shouting about, what about Mole Mania for the Gameboy?

Mole Mania sees you playing as a small mole that could dig holes and push things. That was sort of it...Your mole's wife has been kidnapped by an evil Farmer for some reason and it's up to you to save her! You solved a puzzle contained in a small maze to progress to the next small maze. Get it wrong and you can't get anywhere and it was easy to do. Usually, this would all revolve around lobbing a ball towards something to smash the way forwards open. These balls would fall down the holes you make while digging around and popping up from the dirt, losing them forever, adding a level of caution to your tunnelling. You also had to fight bosses with nothing but your tiny mole muscles and their abilities with chucking spherical objects around. There were some real weird ones and I believe you have to fight the sun at some point. I believe it was the stiff competition that makes this one relatively unheard of. It was up against things like the Mario Land games, the Gameboy version of Donkey Kong, The Gameboy Camera and Warioland. All of which are probably far more memorable. Although, my memory for the market at that time is rather hazy as I was probably under 10. Anyone else remember this?
