Haros Station: Commander's Office: David West and Co.
"You can stay here for the view or just to chat with me, I don't mind. By the way, it will take at least three hours to fill your ship up. What you do with your time is up to you."
David was more concerned about this rescue mission possibly turning into some diplomatic mission, something, if that "Space Invaders" game on his Tablet back on the ship was any indication, that he was NOT trained for.
"..."
He was about to speak up in protest, but Natasha was quick enough to pick up on that point for him.
"This was already a mission with a lot of unknowns, and now, in light of recent intelligence, the potential danger is higher than ever. I'm all for going as quickly as possible, but is HQ wise to keep sending us into Who Knows What one ship at a time? Would not a larger scale mission be wiser? At least then, there's a bigger chance of at least one ship making it back with some solid intel."
"I agree with the Pilot. While I understand the fact that HQ don't want to be seen as an aggressor by sending a small armada, I feel that there is an undue risk in under-selling our capabilities. I'm not saying we are going to go in guns blazing, but this could be the most interaction we would have with extra-terrestrials in history. I don't think this mission is prepared for it. No Offense." He bluntly said, kinda hoping he could get out of this mission.
If a war with Aliens broke out, he wouldn't want to be the one who would go down in the history books as the guy who started it.
