They did when they excluded dedicated servers, and this was the obvious motivation for that investment (I swear to god I'm going to...glare angrily over the internet, or something, at the next person who tries to claim that it made it cheaper to develop). I've been a longtime player of CoD games, but this is just ridiculous levels of bullshit. Activision are getting fucking greedy. Even EA wouldn't do this, and that's saying something.
That's just taking the piss really isn't it? So if I buy the game for £40 (more like 50 judging by the last game), and pay 40 a year for an Xbox Live subscription to play the damn game online, i'm still going to need to pay Activision for the right to play multiplayer? No thanks
