Are they just toying with us now? I think they wanna see how far they have to go before people stop playing it. The sad thing is that quest will never, ever end.
They did when they excluded dedicated servers, and this was the obvious motivation for that investment (I swear to god I'm going to...glare angrily over the internet, or something, at the next person who tries to claim that it made it cheaper to develop). The sheep will buy it, the ones who like gaming will ignore it and move on and the melodramatic will make websites and sign petitions.Zani said:People will buy it regardless.
10% of sales due to making unnecessary and unproductive game play and including subscriptions models is significant, they could easily match subscription revenue with micro transactions (maps, skins etc). If they were smart they'd be able to make just as much money, just as easily without slowly but surely losing consumer confidence.danosaurus said:90% of the people saying they're not going to buy it are lying.
I would not be surprised.Worgen said:single player will probably be 30 min long and just be one big explosion
They were always greedy...MurderousToaster said:Jesus christ. Jesus fucking christ. Not happy with 11.5 million unit sales of MW2 in 2009, they're now trying to rip us off even more. I've been a longtime player of CoD games, but this is just ridiculous levels of bullshit. Activision are getting fucking greedy. Even EA wouldn't do this, and that's saying something.
Its not garbage...the games are quite good actually. Its just the bullshit Activision does fur teh lulz!!one111sidereal_day said:Honestly, if the CoD series has become such serious garbage, why are you people even whining this hard about it? You obviously wanted to play it or you wouldn't have given a fuck what they charged for the new game.
