Are you kidding? Sephiroth was a pussy in KH2...I mean if you said the first KH yeah some of his attacks were cheap, but as long as you had a butt load of elixirs he's a piece of cake.

This is for all those who have managed to get to that point and had the experience.

Yes. OH MY GOD, YES. I can't help but think that this wins (SNK bosses aside).

BTW, I have done it--it's not impossible--and I never want to again.
I spent about 3 hours playing this at my friends house. I got to the last part and couldn't beat it.

I like to play a lot of COD4 (Fuck WaW) and I can deal with martyrdom, I can deal with people glitching, and I can deal with modded controllers. But what really get's my goat is the Juggernaut/Last Stand perks combo with a desert eagle. I mean, when you play Hardcore mode and you're used to people going down in at most 1 to 3 bullets, this can get aggravating. :Shoot: oh hey he's got Juggernaut. :Shoot: oh hey last stand. :He shoots you: Oh hey he one shotted me with a desert eagle after I shot him nine times! I've thrown controllers over this. =/

Gears of War 1

The level where you drive a massive APC with an UV turret on the top to kill the incoming kryll.

Playing through on Insane with a friend and we found that if you manage to miss a few of the kryll, they swarm around "inside" of the tank making them impossible to hit.

A good few retried checkpoints later and Ive learnt exactly where they spawn. That was frustrating. My friend screaming at me since he was driving was also a tad annoying.

the former guy, from I wanna be the guy. Naming the single cheapest out of his array of attacks simply cant be done.

Well I just got off halo and the one thing that has killed me more times than anything else, the shotgun and invisibility or the shotgun and the bubble shield. Very annoying, but I think the worst is the homing exploding shurikens (sorry if thats spelt wrong) from ninja gaiden 2. It stuns you, it takes off half your health when your on hard mode and you can't even take them off. Plus it stuns you afterwards. Argh I need to hit something now

In Halo 3 in the level Cortana, when everything is going to hell in a handbasket. You know what my biggest enemy was? The damn wall (you know it's a great game when you don't need to worry about the invading aliens or zombies, you need to worry about the damn walls.). Anyway, a wall exploded and a pannel about the size of the hallway it was flying down, well, flew at me killing me instantly. I think the game was cheating.
Haha i remember doing the last level for the annual achievement and as we went for the last stretch (as in we got past the area of the secret grunt) and a tile hit me from above crushing me instantly and i was at the back of the group.(we were in a diamond formation)

This

Especially that ridiculous first move he pulls.
He's not that bad, he's harder on the first one. Some people have killed him with the weakest keyblade at level 35. I suppose that is a little sad though

Last few levels of Soldier of Fortune: Payback. I think the devs just said: "Screw it, let's prolong the gameplay by giving every enemy one-and-a-half-hit-kill shotties and when the player kills one, we'll spawn two more."

Why, oh why was I sucked into that horrible piece of poop?

Flood with rocket launchers. Am I right, or am I right?
Neither.

Flood with shotguns are where controller breaking frustration is at (and those ranged pureforms, so gorramn resistant and powerful).
I was mostly talking about Halo 1, but that works too.

Bringing it wayyyyyyy back here. Jurassic Park for the original Gameboy. I would get to the T-Rex level and the gun would do no damage and you couldn't outrun it, it is like the abominable snow man guy in ski free.

Also in the newest Super Smash Bros. game for the Wii, Pit's attack where you just push over and B (using a Gamecube controller)and he just spins his swords around and around and around and can't be stopped unless you get behind him, which is hard to do considering who ever is playing as Pit will just turn around.

Queen Zeal from Chrono Trigger anyone?
Her "Halation" move sets your HP to 1. And it targets your whole party. And it never misses.
Luckily, not only is healing cheap and effective, but apart from Halation, Queen Zeal is a pushover. But it's still bloody annoying.

But even worse was the Golem sisters in the same game. When you attack them they counterattack immediately with something of the same element. What happens if you hit them with a physical attack? They drop a giant iron ball on you, halving your health. And there's two of them.
It took me longer than it should have to beat those guys. I ended up using a high-magic res party and magicspamming them.

Flying medusa heads on the original Castlevania for the NES.

For those that never played think of: Jumping trough moving platforms. Now add Medusa Heads flying right at you during the jumps.

Would like to repost this youtube video yet again and make every suggestion non-valid.

...I've beaten it without getting game over...It was darkest moment of my life...so depressing that I could be so good at something so pointless...

Edit: Original was without dieing, then I realized that I did...still the darkest moment.

In left4Dead multiplayer when your a zombie and the human team has Computer Player they can pick you off from a mile away
Oh my God, this times a million...I cannot tell you how many times I have been so far away from the survivors, ready to start trudging towards them to vomit, just to have fucking Zoey snipe me to death. With the shotgun.

I am not very good at L4D, but AI shotgun sniping still pisses me off.

Depending on how you play, the Golem Sisters are either impossible or push-overs. Using a variety of elemental attacks will just get you killed. The trick is to attack exclusively with water spells and you'll beat them in no time.

As for my cheapest attack, I'd have to say everything the game does to stop you from winning in Odama. In order to beat each level, you have to get a bell to the other side of the map while defending it from soldiers and ordering your own soldiers to do like five different things and trying to control a ball so that it kills the enemy and not your men and doing all this on a short time limit. And sometimes there's a boss.
